Sunday afternoon (morning) race.
Get it on
Woo Hoo, the Irish Hills. Will it make cripplecreek’s dogs bark?
Forgot to mention, rain in the forecast for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Have to see if hey can fit it in.
Jason Leffler dies in dirt car event
Rip, he was a colorful kid. Sorry to hear this.
Thanks for da ping...
Me too. Been busy with family issues; 24 degrees this morning TB. HowamI supposed to grow flowers and veggies outside with that temp?
I hear your new Audi was consumed by the big fire in your back yard...
I was in Co Spgs on Tuesday when the fire started. By the afternoon when I drove back home it had just grown into a billowing fire storm. I drove right past it on I-25. Had to go back on Thursday and it was not as intense. Lots of low-lying smoke, but not mushroom clouds of smoke. I know many people who live in the Black Forest area who, on Thursday, did not know if their homes survived.
Have seen many photos of the damage/destruction caused by the fires. A few of down town Denver showing the heavy smoke was surreal. Not necessarily happy we didn’t make the move there but am relieved not to have had to go thru an evac, etc.
The 335i WILL be uncovered and WILL get to go out and play today.
I am just past the break-in period on the Audi S6. Wow, it is very fast! No noticable turbo lag.
too hot to golf today so i’m watchin the US Open and Nationwide racin....done had a couple k rashes
My turbo has been lagging for several years now....
Gotta go see if the weather is gonna cooperate for the race today.
Ugh. 60% chance of rain on them Irish Hills.
FR is loading mighty fast lately. J & R fix it??
On my last business trip to Colorado Springs I realized I had never had the S6 in 7th gear. I put it into manual shift and went to 7th gear at 75 MPH. It was only turning 2,000 RPM. With a 6,400 RPM redline it will hit top speed well before it runs out of revs.
Hope there is no rain in those Irish Hills today!
I am going to be in Denver, so early ping again.
If you haven't seen, Jason Leffler passed away from injuries sustained in a dirt track race this past week.
Weather in the race area is is looking wet off and on with thunderstorms this morning, clearing for awhile, and storms returning in the early evening.
