Russia Warns Obama: Monsanto
http://topinfopost.com/2013/05/28/russia-warns-obama-monsanto ^

The shocking minutes relating to President Putin’s meeting this past week with US Secretary of State John Kerry reveal the Russian leaders “extreme outrage” over the Obama regimes continued protection of global seed and plant bio-genetic giants Syngenta and Monsanto in the face of a growing “bee apocalypse” that the Kremlin warns “will most certainly” lead to world war.

According to these minutes, released in the Kremlin today by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (MNRE), Putin was so incensed over the Obama regimes refusal to discuss this grave matter that he refused for three hours to even meet with Kerry, who had traveled to Moscow on a scheduled diplomatic mission, but then relented so as to not cause an even greater rift between these two nations.

At the center of this dispute between Russia and the US, this MNRE report says, is the “undisputed evidence” that a class of neuro-active insecticides chemically related to nicotine, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planets bee population, and which if left unchecked could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

So grave has this situation become, the MNRE reports, the full European Commission (EC) this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban (set to begin on 1 December 2013) on these “bee killing” pesticides following the lead of Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine, all of whom had previously banned these most dangerous of genetically altered organisms from being used on the continent.

Who have thought genetically altered seeds would be the catalyst for WWIII?

The “Bee killing” aspect of these GMO’s has all the marks of biological warfare.

Maybe a Pandora’s box has been opened that cannot easily be closed again.

The Russians are probably most disturbed by the fact that we are just a little further down that road than they are.

But the goal everywhere is the same - reduction of the human population on this planet to a level just a little above subsistence.

I’ve also read that the wait was over Syria. Though that was from a middle eastern paper.

These seeds could lead to world wide famine, not so surprising, don’t mess with the food chain.

That is why I am taking ISAGENIX products, I used to think it was a left wing thing, all the talk of GMO foods, overuse of pesticides, I thought it was bogus...NOT ANYMORE!

There isn’t anything in this article about GMOs having anything whatever to do with bee population decline. The only connection seems to be that both the insecticides complained of and the GMOs were developed by Monsanto, among others.

This is a total load of crap.

I guess GMO food is gonna be labeled as such in Russia....

Of course...if GMO food was truly good...they would not fight such labeling

ALL food is genetically modified. That’s the nature of agriculture and animal husbandry.

We’re just more efficient and direct about it now. It’s no reason to become a neo-luddite.

I saw plenty of these dimbulbs at a recent anti-Monsanto protest in Houston. Take my word for it this entire phenomenon is orchestrated by moveon.org, code pink, and their ilk. It’s all total BS.

That's a real funny there! Who knew animal husbandry was to create a non-breeding stock.

Interesting. I think Vlad realizes how weak and stupid Obama looks and is playing it up. I've added Pravda to my news bookmarks...it's not all believable by any means, and really has a most peculiar commie-style editorial policy. Oh wait, that's CNN...no really, Pravda is worth a look once in awhile.

Obama is deaf, dumb, and blind to the stats that show the number of Americans and people worldwide who do NOT want genetically modified food. He's clearly a wholly owned subsidiary of Monsanto.

>>>I guess GMO food is gonna be labeled as such in Russia....<<<

In fact they’ve banned most of it to discourage food companies about it. AFAIK it is a subject of huge argument between US and Russian sanitation agency. A few GMO food is actually allowed there but it is marked about same way on health risks as cigarettes in US. Russian media is also full of propaganda against GMO, (including blatant lies on how it makes lab mice infertile or die early:-) ). To be honest I can’t get why are they are so serious about it. I think GMO itself is not that bad idea as soon as there is no damage like this bee problem.
