Because it’s in the future ;-)
Yeah. All the computers failed on the newer ones.
Doesn't nature know violence never solved anything?
Well I mean it sounds like they are going to bring up global warming in it which in turn furthers the cult of Al Gore which in turn makes him even more money. That guy is worth $300 million now if you can believe it even though the last 9 - 5 job he held was 12 years ago in which he only made about $220k before taxes. Instead of global warming, he should write a book letting us all in on his little financial secret. “You too can make a quarter billion bucks in ten short years and all while unemployed!” The fact is the POS was cashing in on stocks from BS green companies he got the government to finance, then the company would fail and he’d move on to the next one with the public holding the bag. The guy should be in jail.
She has to work on the salute a bit, straighten the hand out and sh’s about got it.
Wow, looks great, can’t wait till it comes out. I really liked Will Smith in “I Am Legend”........
It would take longer that 1000 years to make a death world ala say http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Caliban
I’ve got a serious question.
Why are there so many dystopian/TEOTWAWKI movies lately?
Is that the only thing that makes it through the flouride/medication/self-absorbed/haze of the population?
Add to that video games for the under 35 crowd.
Go to any business today, not just the big chains, but they are the best example, and ask an employee for something out of his normal routine.
BZZZ-PHHHT-CRACKEL smell of smoke.
THIS DROID IS NOT PROGRAMMED FOR THAT.
What the hell is wrong with all of you people?!!
“Chef of the Future!”
The liberal theme is that humans are defiling the Earth and will destroy it, so this fits in with that thought.
In reality, that wouldn’t be much of a solution. The enormous amount of energy and resources needed to ‘colonize’ another planet, would be better spent fixing up Earth.
Also, the trip would take generations. People would be born and die on the space ship. By the time the 10th generation steps off the space ship on the new mother Earth, they won’t have the slightest idea of why they are there and won’t be at all adapted to life on the new planet.
Obviously there would be no memory of planet Earth other than a failed enterprise that forced them into an unnatural life in a steel box.
If it ain’t got zombies & vampires, I ain’t watch’n.
Ever wonder why there are no muslims in Star Trek episodes?Well, there was a Muslim captain in the first JJ Abrams movie.
Is this a Jedi training movie ? LOL
I think it presumes that all computers are defunct, Older model cars (Automobiles) such as those from the sixties and seventies didn’t have micro processors,
older models used distributors and points etc, which would still work after an E.M.P. event such as a nuclear detonation.
From your description it sounds like a rip-off of Harry Harrison’s 1963 novel Deathworld.
She looks like the monster from Alien that’s been Tangoed!!
But islam is the dominant religion in many books by Heinlein and Herbert...
Mark
Which leads me to believe this action flick takes place mostly on Earth (Not Nova Prime) after he and his son crash land back on Earth 1000 years after humans left. Correct? I mean...he says it's Earth.
