It seems very odd that the MSM would be participating so vigorously in the reporting on the various scandals that have exploded on the scene since mid last week.
I've seen numerous comments scattered about skeptical of the motives behind this uncharacteristic attack by the MSM on the Obama administration.
Buried within the Benghazi debacle is information that I believe this administration has carefully kept as obscure as they possibly could for years now, and are now muddying the waters in an effort to keep commentary on the core nature of the Benghazi situation minimalized.
The subject they wish to avoid at all costs is the fact that the Obama administration has actively assisted in the overthrow of two major secular governments by fundamentalist islamic forces and is now working on the third. Whether they call themselves Al Quaeda, or Muslim Brotherhood, or whatever, they are all the same in most respects, they are all fundamentalist muslim Sharia law enforcing factions.
The West has invested an enourmous amount of blood and treasure in the last few hundred years to beat back and contain fundamentalist Islam and Sharia. This administration is unleashing on humanity what the West had pretty effectively bottled up.
No one I know personally understands the nature of what is happening in the Middle East. No one I know even has an inkling of a clue about Islam's murderous conquest of the vast territories of Northern Africa and Southern Europe hundreds of years ago. No one sees that it is happening again, this time enabled and aided by the Obama administration.
That is how effective the administration's manipulation of "talking points" has been over the last four years. They labelled these secular government overthrows "Arab Spring" and convinced us this was all a move from oppressive dictatorships to open democratic societies.
The truth is, what is happening in the Middle East and Northern Africa is that the old brutal Sharia Islam is re-conquering that which was taken from them by the West, and there should be no doubt that this trend will continue and accelerate in the years to come.
The reason the Benghazi episode is threatening to the administration is that to understand what happened there, one has to be familiar with the background and goings-on in the Middle East in regards to the Islamic overthrow of the secular governments. The administration cannot have the discussion turn to what America is REALLY doing over there, and that is assisting fundamentalist Islam in overthrowing secular governments, re-establishing a vast caliphate, and the re-institution of Sharia law over hundreds of millions of people.
So, the administration and the MSM are carefully crafting the Benghazi debate around some "talking points" and the lies told about the video. The moving hand is also showing us some mostly non-actionable stuff that the IRS and State dept have been up to. They're getting us all lathered up and focusing our attention away from the issue we should all be looking at.

Just thinking this morning as I headed out the door from watching Fox, “flares and chaff”. The timing is just too coincidental, and they’d rather throw the IRS under the bus than be held publicly accountable for the Benghazi affair.

Indeed. A diversion away from the fact that four Americans died when terrorists killed them with weapons supplied to them by Hillary Clinton. And that’s just for starters..

I hate to say it, but most people don’t care about Benghazi, or are confused by what the scandal is in it. Not people here, or most conservatives, but most Americans have forgotten all about it. The GOP goofed big time by letting Obama have a pass on it.
And what was the nature of that “off the record” meeting Carney had with the journalists last week??
Agree, but somehow I don’t think “betrayal of the western world” is going to capture the attention of the populace, since it’s a very abstract ox that is being gored. Western civilization will be destroyed over a period of hundreds of years. People don’t think past the next tax filing date. Or Dancing with the Stars, whichever comes first.

How about arming an enemy? Everyone can understand that.
Truth is hillary is involved in this sick situation up to her eyeballs and the dems promised her the WH after our first elected black president. Dems must keep hillary clean at all costs to continue their twisted dream in D.C. Current events are all smoke to keep us away from the truth about clinton’s involvement in Benghazi-gate.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain....
Hide the greater treasonous malfeasance behind some lesser (but more tractable) scandals, get them all out on the front page, and the low-information voter shall soon be “pacified” into believing that the situation is being resolved.
I think there is an element of CYA in it, but more than that the preservation of mass ignorance enables them to continue the overthrow with little or no domestic political resistance.
In a nutshell.
Nobody has been brave enough to label the Muslim Brotherhood an “enemy,” even in the face of the overwhelming evidence of history. If you see a way that that would become possible, then I could envision some popular revulsion. But not likely:

In context, “demoralized” = “UNmoralized,” addicted to moral equivalence or ambiguity.
Forget MuslimBrotherhood. How about arming Al Qaeda?
If Obama gave an rescue order and it wasn’t obeyed he would be leading the charge to find the breakdown. But he is not.
Testimony is that two stand-down orders were issued. If those orders did not come from Obama he would be leading the charge to find who did. But he is not.
If Al Qaeda was not involved there would be no reason to scrub references from reports.
An operation involving AlQaeda was compromised, personnel at the scene were expendable. A known false story about a video was pushed.
Is arming AlQaeda is acceptable? Everybody will understand this.
They apparently believe they have the upper hand on Benghazi. How do I know? They dismiss it out of hand, yet on the IRS & AP, they keep trying to sound more and more outraged. Also, it appears to be THE only thing going on, when looking at Media Matters. If not for the IRS and AP stories, Benghazi would be forgotten about fairly quickly. It is obvious the Dems believe the public is on their side on Benghazi.
