Yep - that’s what I do. Take the kid out to the car. Sure, treat her with dignity, but why does this woman expect everyone to make accommodations for her?
Or do so in the stroller outside, or on a diaper changing pad you carry in the diaper bag or on a blanket.
I’ve had two kids. And I know that no one wants poop near their food or the disease risk it brings anywhere near one’s food.
Spraying urine all over the place in a public area is not a good idea. And then there is the feces. Definitely a health hazard.
The answer is NO!
I actually saw a woman change a baby on the table of a restaurant. Also saw a pic of two babies sitting at restaurant table on pottie chairs.
Hell no, that’s nasty!
Do what women did before there were tables for Pete’s sake!
If she had a car outside, she could have laid him down on the seat. That’s gross on a restaurant seat. And, I’m a mother of three!
I thought the poll would have way more people opposed to changing a babies’ diaper in public
Strange that.
Starbucks will apologize for their employee being rude and insensitive.
Witnessing soiled diapers discarded in parking lots, on walking paths is a sign of decaying society. Another pet peeve is watching patrons leave their candy wrappers, beverages and spilled popcorn behind in a pathetic mess as they leave movie theatres. Just disgusting and pathetic.
My mother and other women I observed a long time ago could lay a baby across their laps and change diapers. This was in the cloth diaper and big baby pin times. I could never master this.
Yes but not where folks are eating
This is where car culture helps
Use the car
LOL, true.
And you’re absolutely right about people not washing up. I avoid public restrooms when I can, but I’ve seen plenty women leave without washing, or else run their hands under plain water.
There is a right place for everything and a diaper change in a dining area is NOT the Right place. What’s the matter with the mother? she Couldn’t take the tyke to the ladies room and do the clean up there?
I wouldn’t want to be sitting in that area and knowing that is going on.
And I have kids.
Idiot.
Would she change a diaper on her dining room table? Kitchen counter?
Seriously ...
Do modern diaper bags still come with a pad to put underneath the baby? I used to use one before changing stations became commonplace. All most bathrooms ever had was a small vanity counter, if at all.
Denver....entitled lib behavior
Different times, I guess.
(the father)says, he dumped his venti coffee on the floor, saying, Make sure you clean that. because he felt the employees were being demeaning to his wife.
What a classy couple.
My first too were before changing tables
You can find private spots to clean them up
Even the floor of a closet or clean bathroom...in their carrier.....
Carry spare cloth diapers and plenty of wipes
Cloth diaper to lay them on
Common sense
But last place is where folks eat especially if its an older baby
With my gradkids, I do not remember one.
It is easy to bring along a cover or blanket is needed.
I mean there are even paper towels you can put on the floor, if you need to.
