Lousy life in NK

Posted on 04/13/2013 11:01:51 AM PDT by ExCTCitizen

I was just read about life in North Korea. I found the Following interesting...do You?

Parents who send their kids to schools are expected to provide desks, chairs, building materials and cash to pay for heating fuel. Some students are put to work producing goods for the government or gathering up discarded materials. Parents can bribe teachers to exempt their kids from labor or just keep them away from school

And this is OBAMACare is action!

North Korea has a "free" medical system, but hospital patients must pay for their own drugs, cover the cost of heat, and prepare all their own meals at home.

Sounds like a Democrat...

Kim Jong Un may be worth as much as $5 billion, according to the South Korean news organization Chosun Ilbo. The money comes from state-run enterprises as well as sales of narcotics, counterfeiting, and other types of criminality. It's believed to be held in hundreds of bank accounts - outside of North Korea.

If you don't have anything to eat, how can you make it at home???

I wonder if Obama is helping him get rich?

A little bit of socialism is a little bit of evil, and a lot of socialism is a lot of evil.

Fox news has been using a powerpoint chart stating that the Norks are spending $1.2 billion on their missile program: Enough to feed the entire country for a year.

But, then New York is reporting that they’re spending $3.4 billion on food stamps in NYC every year.

I don’t know why I keep on scratching my head, trying to equate the two stats. Maybe it takes less food to feed a scrawny 80 pound man, versus 300 pound couch potatoes in NYC

$1.2 billion divided by NK’s 25 million people is $48 each.

No Kim Jung Un took Pearl Bailey out for drinks and got her bombed.

Maybe I'm thinking of Minnie Pearl.

Either way glad to know that Facebook is full of "fun facts" that I NEVER heard of.

The sad thing is these people are so stupid, that they REVEL in their ignorance.

“Parents who send their kids to schools are expected to provide desks, chairs, building materials and cash to pay for heating fuel.”

In my community, owners of real estate property pay for these items. It's called property tax. Rather that bill parents for their children's indoctrination, all property owners must pay.

Actually, the Norks are getting off cheap on schooling. Its hard for a multitude of bureaucrats to take a piece of a desk or chair, but my local bureaucrats have no problem taking a big chunk of property tax money before it buys the first desk at grossly inflated prices from a local crony.

Comparing the 2 systems, I think I'd like to try the NK method of school funding.

Even NK Communists understand that nothing is free & anything called free is not worth having. They must have run out of other people's money.
