‘We are above the law of the land’

Muslims living in America should not be bound by U.S. law, according to a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who delivered the controversial message to a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

........

The organizers said one major issue discussed “was the recent House and Senate bill proposals involving the implementation of ‘anti-Shariah’ legislation, where the First Amendment rights and freedoms of Muslims would ultimately be hindered.”

........

Carroll’s statement was similar to a statement allegedly made by CAIR co-founder and former chairman Omar M. Ahmad. He was paraphrased by a reporter saying, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant” and the Quran “should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

........

“When you even say the word Shariah, people get nervous. We are not advocating for Shariah. We are not trying to make Shariah the law of the land,” he said.

Carroll claimed Muslims only want the “right to practice our faith.”

........

Carroll is on record defending Hamas, classified by the U.S. as a terrorist group.

“I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas,” he’s said.

At CAIR’s Dallas banquet in 2007, Carroll denied the Quran is the source of terrorism.

Much of the blame lies with Texas’ own buffoon George W Bush. After 9-11 he could have led a charge to pass conservative immigration reform (i.e. no amnesty, no Diversity visas, end of chain migration and much less legal immigration and refugee settlements) which would have basically ended Muslim immigration. But being so liberal and worthless on immigration, Bush instead assured us that Islam is a religion of peace and did nothing as Muslim immigration increased.

There is nothing that can be done about voluntary conversions to Islam, but it’s insane for Western nations to have an immigration policy that makes their lands more Muslim. It’s distressing because opposing a growing Islamic presence should unite the Right and (elements of) the Left. But the Right is infected with the likes of the Bush family and Grover Norquist, while the Left simply hates mainstream and traditional America so much that they don’t care who they replace it with.

But if the resolve were there we could easily shut off Muslim immigration. (1) Abolish Ted Kennedy’s absurd Diversity Visa Lottery, which serves to bring in thousands of Muslims and then kicks off chain migration. (2) End chain migration by limiting family reunification visas to spouses and minor, dependent children. (3) Severely restrict refugee admissions; like the Diversity visa they have brought in thousands of Muslims and allowed new threads of chain migration to be initiated.

These three things would pretty much end Muslim immigration within a matter of years. And if need be we could simply now allow immigration from Muslim nations, and tell the Sup Court where to go if they tried to interfere.

Pursuing such policies would of course get one branded a racist by the Left (Democrats, media, Hollywood, professional ethnic grievance groups) and the righteous Right, but I’m afraid the entire Western world is going to sorely regret not taking such action when we easily could have.

I’m out of the loop here.

Why are Muslims exempt from Obamacare?

“..sorely regret...” Those words are well plumbed, as we speak. “Fair do you well, you fathers of sons...”

“This is why — precisely why — I oppose Freedom of Religion. Islam should not be tolerated in any civil society that values the rule of law.”

Our Constitution is not a suicide pact. It requires defense against those who would use it to defeat us.

We cannot allow islamics the freedoms that we have — for they will use those very freedoms to twist and subvert our system to that point where they can assume control and force us to submit. They are well on the way to achieving this goal in Western Europe today.

I believe the followers of muhammed should be removed from The West, and that our laws (including the First Amendment) should be re-written to exclude them from the protections of actual religions (I do not consider islam to be a “religion”, per se, but rather a totalitarian behavior control system akin to nazism).

Muslims have no place in Western Civilization. They would be the first to tell you that Christians and Jews have no place in their world, either. I take them at their word.

This is an existential question of survival — confronted by a value system that’s only goal is to destroy us...

Throughout human history, those who thought themselves “above the law,” and acted accordingly, had a real knack for ending up “beneath the soil” prematurely.

I think if any of them say they’re above the law they get deported immediately and a lifetime ban from ever comign back.

Man we need a freaking tough as nails Christian conservative running this country. A John Wayne type would do well - young and tough as hell and full of common sense. A 1945-ish General Patton would fit the bill too.

‘We are above the law of the land’

I figured that this title/quote came from someone within the Obama regime. Same difference.
