Horrific video surfaces of Ford City Mall Riot tied to Mindless Behavior
Video surfaced today of a violent riot that broke out following an appearance Saturday at Ford City mall in Chicago by urban boy band Mindless Behavior. According to the Chicago Sun Times initial report damage in the mall was limited to a destroyed planted box. Over fifty squad cars descended on the mall to defuse the situation, leading to twenty arrests.
This new video shows the extent of the chaos outside of the mall. Unidentified African American teenagers can be seen flashing gang signs and discussing their dubious intentions. One young male is seen on camera smashing a chair through the back window of a passing family minivan. It is not known at this time if he was one of those arrested.

That’s mild. I witnessed much worse then that at school in 1975. This type of behavior is ignored by the media and condoned by the 90% who vote in a block for the destruction of all things deemed “white”.
No wonder they need Head Start programs, affirmative action, minority set asides, race-based privileges, hate crime laws, and a worthless diploma.
No wonder people who respect the law and the rights of other people don’t get special privileges from the government.

I looked at the video and while watching kept wondering why those cars just stayed where they were. When confronted by such a situation, what you do is drive fast in a path to get out of there and avoid solid objects but damn the people trying to harm you. Don’t aim at them but don’t swerve away, either. Swerving to avoid a kitty cat that runs in front of you is always the wrong choice. IT IS DANGEROUS to swerve and in the case of a violent mob swerving will increase your desirability as a target as it will likely get you stopped in a crash.
Lived in that area(conservative carried Reagan, Republican Alderman state senator state reps) for 40 years.Owned and worked for a couple of weeklys in that area working with civic and veterans groups among other sources but after 15 years lost contact because many folks I knew have since passed on.
I’m happy that you found a link to a neighborhood news website in that area. This one seems to have a solid connection with neighborhood watch groups working with 8th district.

I live in Chicago and I can’t take it anymore. I consider myself a pretty tough guy but the constant presence of a dangerous ghetto culture is wearing. Just this Saturday MORNING a brawl broke out around me at the grocery store deli counter. ...this in a decent area of town.
My theory is that when they tore down Cabrini Greene and the Robert Taylor homes 50,000 thugs were spread throughout the city...combined with a rescission...
Then around 1990-92 we heard from friends who lived on the SW side of Chi that Mexican gang-banging 'girls' where slicing women's and girl's faces with Razor blades as some type of gang initiation. So it's no surprise to me that Black Gang savages have now taken the territory over from the Mexi Gang savages. My only surprise is that its taken this long for any of these savages to 'go tribal' and riot.
As far as I'm concerned the whole place should have been flattened when the Razor Slicing crap started.
I'm sooooooo old I remember when Ford City Mall didn't exist and guys would Drag Race on what's now 'W Ford City Drive'.
It was all vacant land except for the abandoned Ford MoCo plant to the North.

The folks over at SothwestChicagoPost.com want to know what the hell happened at Ford City Mall Saturday:
Ford City Mall, you owe us all an explanation.
The people of the Southwest Side (as well as nearby suburbs) want to know what exactly happened at your shopping center on Saturday, February 23, and why.
Police and others in authority are describing scenes of fights, looting and more-—both in the mall and spilling onto adjacent areas.
~~ How many mall security officers were on duty when the situation got out of hand?
~~ Did you have extra mall security on hand that day? If so, how many?
~~ Did you alert Chicago Police in advance? How about the Burbank, Bedford Park, Hometown and Oak Lawn PDs? If yes, how far in advance? If no, why not?
~~ In light of what occurred, do you plan to apologize to Ford City customers, Ford City business tenants, the people who were injured (including a CTA bus driver who was taken to a hospital) and the tens of thousands of men, women and children living in the immediate area? If so, when do you plan to make that apology? If not, why not?
They also have a few YouTube videos posted, most uploaded by the miscreants who caused and participated in the mayhem. Big surprise, it appears that gangs were involved and Facebook/Twitter was used to coordinate the nonsense.
We don’t think they’re going to get any good answers though.
In related news, the Ford City Mall has cancelled scheduled appearances by the Vienna Boy’s Choir and the touring company of Swedish Handbell Ringers.

People put up with a lot of nonsense from the govt, but I do not think they would put up with that too long. After all, what would they have to lose at that point by shooting back?
If this sort of mob behavior, blocking roads and attacking passing traffic, continues it’s just a matter of time before somebody in a vehicle completely loses it and starts mowing them down. I don’t honestly know how I’d react in the same circumstance. If I thought they were trying to kill me I can’t say I wouldn’t floor the gas, to be honest. These flash mobs are playing with fire and whoever’s coordinating them knows it, wants exactly that, imho.
Found out I know Tim Hadac and he knows me thought his name was familiar. Thanks for the tip on this group you have to watch who is doing what before you jump in with them.

I stopped my subscriptions to the Chicago rags, The Southtown, Tribune and Sun-Times early in Obama’s first term when I saw that all three were in the tank for him and even more so now.
My only actual newspaper subscription now is the Wall Street Journal.
