Reed Exhibitions, a UK based company, has prohibited the display and sale of tactical rifles, high-cap magazines and certain other accessories as well as the display of official logos and trademarks of some American gun related manufacturers at the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show (aka Sportsmen's Show).
The Sportsmen's Show is an annual event held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA the first week of February. The event sees in excess of 250,000 patrons and has been billed as the largest outdoors show in the world. But NOT this year.
The show originally had four major sponsors; Cabela's, Outdoor Network, Progressive Insurance, and Comcast. Cabela's is boycotting the show with many other vendors and sportsmen. This list of businesses boycotting the show is growing hourly.
This is a chance to show the strength of grassroots conservatives that fully support the 2nd Amendment. Given Obama's and Democrat's assault on the right to bear arms we need to make a stand. Attending this show is essentially license for the liberal media to report, "See, outdoorspeople have no problem with commonsense gun control and they, like most Americas, want to our children to be safe from guns with high capacity clips. There is NO reason for any hunter to need an assault weapon to hunt ducks. All reasonable people agree with this."
We have recently seen the gun grabbers in NY make criminals of law abiding citizens by banning nearly 80% of guns in the state. Liberals want to disarm Americans so they can "progress" with their transformation.
I will not go to the show this year, or spend money on admission that goes to UK based company that does not understand the phrase, "shall not infringe." Please respectfully urge vendors to boycott the show so that the only booths left standing have Flo from Progressive Insurance hanging out with the Sham-Wow guy watching liberal Comcrap cable.
Since Reed Exhibitions changed their policy at the last minute, vendors boycotting the show should form a class-action lawsuit due to breach of contract to seek refunds and damages for lost revenue. It is time we stick it to gun grabbing liberals.
I posted in another thread directions to Cabela’s. We should all just head on out to Hamburg... Would love to see Cabel’s parkinglot full of Gadsen Flags and tailgating and such... LOL.

We are proud to make this statement in unity with Ralph & Vicki Cianciarulo Fred & Michele Eichler and many others. Due to the recent changes in policies made by Reed Exhibition we will not be attending the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show unless they reverse their decision. As strong supporters of our 2nd amendment rights we are all united in this decision. We were all looking forward to attending again this year to see our friends & fellow sportsmen and women and regret this unfortunate situation. "As the official gun sponsor, Cross Canyon Arms will be pulling out of the Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show. It come's with great disappointment with how the Show Officials have handled themselves with such an uneducated decision. Politically, professionally, and economically, this is will have a catastrophic impact for everyone. Our hearts go out the people whom attend this show year after year, we're saddened for the other companies who spend money to display their products like us in hopes of gaining new revenue and meeting new clients. CCA believes in the Second Amendment and what it stands for, we can't believe that such a careless decision could be made drawing a line in the sand. Brothers we should not be fighting amongst ourselves, and this decision by ES&O is doing exactly that".
Thanks for putting this together. Frankly, they should have never said anything. Waiting lists for an AR is 2 months out. I know, I’m looking.
