No .. Im not talking about the fiscal cliff, nor am I talking about the almost $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities we face as a nation. Iran and a nuke? Yeah .. thats serious all right, but Im told that we are messin with Iran right now in ways that you couldnt even imagine ways that could derail their nuclear plans for some time to come. Is the real problem our sagging economy? An oncoming second recession? The growth of government dependency? Sure all of those are problems and all are difficult to deal with but they pale to insignificance to the problem Im bringing up here.
I think that it is truly time for us those of us capable of thinking clearly and, perhaps, just a bit outside the box to consider the possibility that somehow we have found ourselves with a president who is not all there. Yes. I mean that. This president was never vetted by the media; that would have been racist. He is a man with an admitted history of drug use. Those portions of his past that he has not chosen to write about are shrouded in dark mystery. And --- now think about this --- for perhaps the first time since they started issuing security clearances, we have a president who simply could not qualify for one. If Obama were being hired to work in the White House, instead of occupying it, the FBI would simply recommend against a security clearance and the job would go away. Isnt it funny how a history with drug abuse and associations with known and convicted domestic terrorists and crime figures can screw up a good day?

I’m not really interested in hearing anything Boortz has to say. He’s spent the last 4+ decades refining his scheme to get rich and fool conservatives. He’s an opportunist, a liar, and a reprehensible person. I’m just glad he is going off to spend his booty and won’t be on the air any more.
ALL information is worthy of consideration, no matter the source.
I never considered before the possibility of a drug arrest (f'rinstance).
Because everything's locked up ... could there be police records that have been expunged?
He came to my home town decades ago from Texas after a myriad of odd jobs, a failed college stint, etc. and found a niche at WRNG radio as the counter to Sacha Futran (a rabid liberal there).
I could spend a long time explaining why I think he’s about as fake as one can be but what’s the point? I’m just glad he’ll be gone and won’t sucker in any more people that are conservative and actually are looking for real conservative guidance.
I never knew a few of those facts, and if I had turned you off as a "Negative Nabob" (Spirew Agnew, I think) .. I'd not have known that.
I would also include Bill Maher's girlfriend, Ann Coulter, and Elton Jon's latest squeeze, Rush Limbaugh in this USE conservatives to get rich, while supping, golfing, and partying with the liberals.
Leaving out Ann Coulter’s errors in judgement recently, what is it exactly that you would have major conservative voices do? Abstain from making money? You think Rush Limbaugh should renounce money and live like an impoverished monk so he’d be more ideologically pure? In your book, is there something wrong with getting rich? That’s a pretty commie way of looking at things.
Coulter's errors in judgment? HELLO she is a snippy itch that exposed herself in all things Chrispy and Romney. Neither of these two politicians are conservative, yet she could not control herself in acting like a schoolgirl in love. The lying liberal left sure did not make her wealthy, conservatives did, and now we got an in your face skank promoting liberal republicans as IF we are toooo stupid to come in out of the rain.
I could care less how much money Limbaugh has. Your class envy trip wire is short circuited. I will no longer accept the claim that Rush is a conservative.
I specifically said in my post that I didn’t want to debate what Ann Coulter did or did not do. I’m not addressing that. You have some points there.
It’s just mysterious to me that you think Limbaugh isn’t a conservative and you seem to resent the fact that he’s gotten rich by being a conservative spokesman. What identifies him to you as not being conservative? Are you mad that he supported Romney?
Then do not make this a class warfare accusation or ply me with communist puke.

I will attempt to make this as simple as possible. I remember back when when Rush would tell his followers what the founding fathers were willing to 'GIVE-UP' to create this nation. I have seen none of that willingness out of Rush. He would be the last person I would want in my 'fox-hole' if things get that bad. He is fat, lazy and forgetful of humble beginnings and what is really required to 'stand' for something.
I despise what Rush did to Newt in Florida. And while I voted for Romney, I do think there is sweet justice that even after all the money Romney poured into Florida and with the help of Rush won the GOP primary.... but Romney could not buy Florida come the general election... I guess we could call it impotency on Rush and Romney's part. See has not one thing to do with how rich either of them are.
OK, please continue making your point. I am listening, not arguing. What do you think Rush should have done to make Romney win the general election? What do you think he should give up?
Nobody including Rush was going to whitewash Romney into being a conservative. Romney is a liberal, and is the personification of what the liberals have accused Republicans of being all my living memory. White, rich, country club men. Funny thing, that profile never fit Ronald Reagan, but it sure does fit the rest of the GOP-e contenders since Reagan. I cannot think of any other politician who would fit the liberals profile of a Republican better than Mitt Romney. And the elite 'rich' GOP-e who are not conservative are so full of themselves and their ways they could not even get their campaign in working order. Actually it is quite embarrassing the amount of money spent on the Romney campaign and for what?
Rush hangs with the Boehners and Trumps of this world, what else is he going to be in reality but a lightweight republican. But he uses us to sell his BS so he can maintain the lifestyle he has become accustomed. Well I no longer listen nor buy his junk, I am going to let the high-minded moderate republicans keep him flush in cash.
All my living memory liberals have accused Republicans of taking away old peoples social security and other freebies... and what is Mitt caught saying about 47% of the population... Now I know people that voted for Obama simply because of what Romney said got translated to them that Romney said he was taking away social security.
All hell broke out over MO Senate candidate, USHouse Rep. Akin's stupid choice of words, but nary a reaction out of the GOP-e about the stupidity of Romney's more than once ignorant choice of words.
I firmly believe in the standard of NO taxation/mandates without representation.... so that makes me an original ‘tea-party’ supporter.
Getting rich via criminality, exploitation and graft is the only thing Hussein knows, so naturally, his assumption is the only process that the mental pathological mind can grasp and exploit.
You really ought to keep some thoughts to yourself...
Cause sometimes Ya sound like an idiot... jus sayin
Yes, I am fully aware there are people like you out there across this nation. IF you think for one minute that calling me an idiot changes what I think or causes me offense, then you wasted your time. WHO got reelected? AND what is the literal condition we find this nation's economy and social condition? I was a Rush listener and 'buyer' from about the time GHWBush got elected until the Friday before the Florida primary 2012. Conservatism is not a just a subject for talk radio it is a lifestyle.
Clearly you rarely listen to Rush, if you ever do. It’s easy to tell, because I happen to be self-employed and on the road a lot and therefore get to listen to Rush regularly. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, however, and presume you are not a lying troll but rather just a bigmouth ignoramus.
I am from Missouri and I do not brag, nor do I LIE. You are most certainly free to presume whatever you wish. I really could care less IF you follow Rush or NOT. AND I do not care if you consider me a lying troll or a bigmouth ignoramus. Realville is the here and now and liberalism is nearly the state of this nation. Bloody Thursday before the Florida primary, was the last straw for me on Rush... Obviously Rush did not have his mirror cleaned that day when he snarled about Newt's ego... and read the liar Abrams trash and insults of the nobody Newt of the 80's... I knew the instant Rush read Abrams words they were lies.... http://spectator.org/blog/2012/01/27/elliott-abrams-caught-misleadi .... but by the time the 'truth' got spoken the damage was done. Sorry, Rush popped his own big ego on this one. Like it or not what goes around comes around.
****** “Conservatism is not a just a subject for talk radio it is a lifestyle.” *******
I vaguely remember Rush talking about the silly Abrams piece, but I don’t remember it being a big deal with Rush. If anything Rush approached it skeptically. In fact Rush seemed to be leaning toward Newt, if anybody, among the (at the time) fairly big GOP primary crowd.
Rush remained skeptical about Mittens right up to the end and seemed to be more focused on Ubanga’s defeat than Romney’s victory. No way was Rush ever a big supporter or apologist for Romney. Didn’t happen. He did look for positives, though. And like Mark Levin and many others, it came down to electing the last man standing or Ubanga, and so (shrug) it had to be the last man standing ... or Ubanga.
(By the way, I personally couldn’t bring myself to vote for Mittens.)
As far as Boehner goes, my take is that Rush has little use for him. Rush, following Reagan’s 11th commandment, rarely lets loose on ANY Republican. He just sees that practice as counterproductive and prefers to concentrate on exposing the lie of liberalism and the damage the Democrats continue to do to our nation.
Rush prefers to use his talk-radio “bully pulpit” to exhort Republicans to do the right thing, the conservative thing, and attempts to guide them in their arguments and communication for the purpose of advancing conservative values. He tries to tell them what to do and how to do it.
My appreciation for Rush continues to grow every day. I have NEVER heard him compromise his conservative principles. He has done 200+ shows per year for 20+ years, and remains steady as a rock. Yeah, he’s made a few mistakes over the (many) years and said a few things he probably wished he could take back, but so what? Who on earth could talk through 5,000 3-hour shows and never make a mistake?
Your original post lambasting Rush was full of holes and inaccurate assertions, and sounded indicative of somebody who only hears or reads second-hand accounts about Rush’s daily shows. The point is, if you believe that Rush is/was a full-throated supporter of Mittens or Boehner you are way off base.
I basically agree with everything else you said on this thread, though.
