OK, please continue making your point. I am listening, not arguing. What do you think Rush should have done to make Romney win the general election? What do you think he should give up?
Nobody including Rush was going to whitewash Romney into being a conservative. Romney is a liberal, and is the personification of what the liberals have accused Republicans of being all my living memory. White, rich, country club men. Funny thing, that profile never fit Ronald Reagan, but it sure does fit the rest of the GOP-e contenders since Reagan. I cannot think of any other politician who would fit the liberals profile of a Republican better than Mitt Romney. And the elite 'rich' GOP-e who are not conservative are so full of themselves and their ways they could not even get their campaign in working order. Actually it is quite embarrassing the amount of money spent on the Romney campaign and for what?
Rush hangs with the Boehners and Trumps of this world, what else is he going to be in reality but a lightweight republican. But he uses us to sell his BS so he can maintain the lifestyle he has become accustomed. Well I no longer listen nor buy his junk, I am going to let the high-minded moderate republicans keep him flush in cash.
All my living memory liberals have accused Republicans of taking away old peoples social security and other freebies... and what is Mitt caught saying about 47% of the population... Now I know people that voted for Obama simply because of what Romney said got translated to them that Romney said he was taking away social security.
All hell broke out over MO Senate candidate, USHouse Rep. Akin's stupid choice of words, but nary a reaction out of the GOP-e about the stupidity of Romney's more than once ignorant choice of words.
I firmly believe in the standard of NO taxation/mandates without representation.... so that makes me an original ‘tea-party’ supporter.
