Skip to comments.West request for recount denied or court doesn't have authority?

Earlier today while reading an article from a Drudge link that state West's request for recount was denied by a judge I actually read the reason the judge didn't order the recount was because his court didn't have the authority to do so (jurisdiction?).
Is this actually considered a denial or is it being framed by certain media interests as a denial?
Anybody have an actual URL of the court transcripts?
funny thing... courts have assumed authority to do anything they want these days. Heck, they can even decide what states and even individuals MUST spend their money on!
West posted on his Facebook that a full recount of ALL early votes has been ordered. :)
Why not recount EVERY vote? It would probably be instructive.
One of the problems with the internet is that info, both true and false, becomes widely available and one must take the time to digest the differing stories. It makes for a lot of knee-jerk panic, followed by a slightly more informed calm, to be replaced by panic, to be replaced by....you get the idea.
The court said they did not have the authority to order a recount.
At this point in time, before certification, the canvassing board had the authority.
The canvassing board voted 2-1 last note to have a recount starting at 9:00 am this morning.
If West picks up enough votes to get within .5% of the total, that will trigger an automatic recount of the ENTIRE amount of votes.
Based on what he picked up in the recount of the first part of the early voting, this could happen.
The canvassing board met at 4PM and decided that a "retabulation" of all early and absentee votes is in order.
Now, Murphy is threatening to find a judge who will stop the retabulation.
We are expecting the count to begin at 9AM today, unless blocked.
Murphy is obviously dreading any recounting.
We have a large and reliable contingent on the scene and watching everything!
By using the word “we” i’m assuming you live in that area? If so no matter how this shakes out you folks need to begin action to remove Murphy ASAP. She is obviously corrupt.
Gertrude has been in the spotlight before, just always managed to escape.
“Still, she earned $75,200 last year as a guidance counselor at Whiddon-Rogers Education Center in Fort Lauderdale, despite only being with the school district for 16 months. Starting teacher pay last year was $39,300 and teachers usually have to work more than two decades to reach top pay.
Oliphant, who could not be reached for comment Tuesday, had until June 30 to earn her teaching certification, and lost her job Tuesday when she failed to pass the math portion of the certification test.”
Math deficiency seems to be a prerequisite for election supervisors in Democratic Districts. Perhaps they should have to pass the math portion of a certification test before taking office —
That 3 county area may as well be called South Chicago.
What’s Oli doing now that she failed her math test??? teaching English???
These cheaters seem to float back and forth between elections offices and school districts.
One big note in our area this year was the number of public school teachers in the polling places.
For the first time in remembrance there was no school in the district so that teachers could “serve the public” in the polling places.
“Whats Oli doing now that she failed her math test??? teaching English???”
Gave them both up for brain surgery!
sorry my mistake, THROW EM ALL OUT! LOL
