The teacher I co-taught with last year was a huge Patricia Polacco fan. She was always reading her books to the kids. This teacher is also supposedly a big Christian. I wonder if she knows about the latest from Polacco.
The American Library Association was taken over by the militant homosexual agenda, just the way the American Psychological Association was. These previously respected professions have gone downhill ever since as panderers to those out to destroy the Judaeo-Christian value system.
Congratulations for Utah having a state law forbidding this kind of material as part of a child’s education. It is amazing that we tolerate such a small percentage of our population trying to go around state law and force their beliefs and policies on the rest of us. If this is such a big deal, get it on the ballot and have the people of the state vote to change the law. Otherwise, let the offended individual purchase that book for their child and they can read it over and over and over.

What a wonderful idea, that the ACLU supports parents having control over what their children are taught, and required to read.. What about the other parents that don't want their children being indoctrinated in the liberal Global Warming fraud, and homosexual tolerance movement, or Sex ed to kindergarteners, or the Obamamaia, or, or, or..... jus sayin.. :)
Couldn’t agree more that librarians and Psychs. [add in teachers and professors] have been taken over by the libs.!
My advice to cure this problem is to avoid the lawyers and just check out the stupid book and “forget” to return it. Once you get the damn attorneys involved you’re sunk.

I’m confused. The Winbridge mother was offended when her kindergartener brought the book home yet the article says the library required a signed permission slip to check out the book. Something is not quite right here.
