IIRC early in Obama’s first term there was some loony congressman who introduced legislation to amend the Constitution to enable more than two terms. Don’t know where that is, but it would not surprise me to see some movement in that area.

Not going to happen, for starters. Obama is not nearly left enough for the left.
Instead, most such discussion centers on the hope for a more “progressive” candidate in 2016.

How long until Left calls for Obama 3rd term? The Supreme Court will probably rule in a 5-4 vote, with John Roberts voting for the majority, that the 22nd Amendment can be interpreted as allowing the president to run for as many terms as he wants. Obama will eventually retire in 2033 after serving his sixth term.

If the kenyan wants a third term he will decree it. Congress has approved of government-by-decree already. Congress has also given the president power to kill or otherwise silence his enemies so he doesn’t have to put up with any more opposition than he chooses. We are all Venezuelans now.
