Give us some good news....

There is some good news:

Ann Romney won't be rip to shreds like Nancy Reagan was.

The cities aren't in riots (damned civilized conservatives)

when I am replaced at work by an ille--ooops- undocumented worker, I can survive on unemployment for years, saving money by not buying gas to drive to work

We're still alive? ; )

I continue to count my blessings. I heard a meditation this morning:

Like a flame that needs oxygen around it to burn more brightly, our soul sometimes needs conflict in order for it to perfect itself so that we can become more in tune with our faith; allowing us to become a stronger faithful Christian.

I will keep that thought with me today as I go about my day.

Republicans hold house, record number of governorships (30), Sheriff Joe reelected. 50 million rejected Obama. Now we can impeach Obama for Libya.

What would be the point of impeachment? The Senate Democrats wouldn’t convict under any circumstances. The rule of law is basically dead. Nothing will come of Benghazi- might as well move on to other things.

The republic withstood the 4 terms of FDR....it will survive O.

The values which bring you here remain true.

2014 is coming and the GOP holds the House and 30 Governors

The fight for the soul of that party, begins today.

The Liberals own the coming collapse.

Yes actually if history repeats itself obozo will do a lousy job in the second term and not get anything done. That will be good for us. If you recall most second term presidents don’t do much during the second term like the first.

I predict he will spend more time on the golf course or partying with JayZ.

"The Liberals own the coming collapse."

1. Hitting the debt ceiling end of year

2. Taxmageddon December 31, 2012

3. Obamacare January 1, 2014

He can vote present but it will definitely be HIS administration that takes the hits.

Too optimistic there I am afraid. The American people will still blame Bush and the Republicans for the coming collapse. You know they will.

The only good news I can think of is that (for now at least) we still have the right of free assembly and the freedom of religion.

Those likely won’t be taken away until next election.

Ok this is pretty dark but anyhow:

Because this is America, The Romney family was not assassinated overnight and their corpses publicly displayed.

(However I fear that the treatment of political enemies of the State in this country is changing direction. I pray that I am wrong. It seems like a short step from the small persecutions like IRS audits and boycotts of businesses with owners who excersise free speech to... having dissidents disappear in the night.)

After her groveling to her son, I now see Nancy Reagan might have gotten what she deserved. Just 20 years ahead of schedule. Regardless that she was married to Ronald.

Since Obama’s main strategy to get out of this is to throw Hlllary Clinton and the intelligence community under the bus, some Senate Dems can be blackmailed by those who don’t want to go there.

Extend that to a compiled list of all union generated products. BTW, if it matters, did the coal unions go for Obama in PA?

I vowed after the last election, I would never vote for a levy that benefited a public sector union. Our school levey went down by 100 votes. Small victory, but economic punishment is the order of the day in my house.

Odd as it may be, I was looking forward to having a decent, normal-looking First Couple make a state visit to England and meet the royal family. Mitt and Ann would have done us proud.

Maybe this time, instead of just pawing the Queen, the wookie beast will flip her on her back and tickle her.

And thus ends the good news.

It doesn’t matter. There is no possibility of conviction by the Senate no matter what the facts are. The Senate Democrats are more loyal to their party than the Constitution or the rule of law. The media is more loyal to the Democratic Party than the truth. No one important will go to jail, no one will be impeached or removed from office. His base only cares about getting stuff from government and won’t turn on him as long as the checks keeps coming. It’s sad but you have accept that we live in a different world now where power is everything and we don’t have it.

There is no "good news" as far as America is concerned. We are over as a nation. God has removed his hand of protection from us and we, as a nation, are under the direct judgment of Almighty God and nothing, no man, no movement, concervative or other wise can deliver us from what is coming.

On a personal note, the "Good News" of salvation through saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has not gone anywhere. This offer is still available to all men who will receive Him in faith. That is the only "Good News" that God has to offer the people of America.

After 4 more years of Obama, what will the national debt be?

The Klingon said: "The republic withstood the 4 terms of FDR....it will survive O."

I would share your optimism if it wasn't for the fact that I disagree with your premise.

Did the Republic withstand FDR? The seeds of socialism were widely sown. The demographics and economic expansion of the late twentieth century allowed the day of reckoning to be put off.

Instead of recognizing the looming bankruptcy of social security, the socialists have doubled-down with medicare, medicaid, Obamacare, food stamps, guaranteed student loans, "renewable" energy, and many other equally foolish policies. We did not survive FDR.

Much as a cancerous tumor begins with a single malformed cell, our economic and social demise began with an innocent looking localized change with disastrous consequences.
