Do you think any liberals are nervous tonight? (Vanity)

Posted on 11/05/2012 3:50:05 PM PST by MNDude

Personally, I have been a little anxious about the election tomorrow.

I watch Dick Morris's predictions and I feel pretty good. But then I check out DemocratUnderground, and it looks like those guys are REALLY confident that Obama's going to win tomorrow. They are so confident, that in fact, it sort of hurt some of my own confidence that Romney's going to win tomorrow. It looks like they have their own gurus and oracles that they quote, and they sure feel good about their chances.

What do you guys think? Do you think these liberals are all 100% confidence or do you think a few might be a little anxious too?

If anyone has an personal stories about an anxious liberal they know, please share!

They are planning sweet revenge. Printing presses are working overtime at ACORN to produce fake ballots. I bet my dead Mother voted for Barry.

I have more than 6 daughters. I see your point, but every one of these beauties was as welcome as our boy.

honestly besides conservatives and libertarians, I think the next overjoyed--if he doesn't win--will be Obama himself.

My niece (by marriage) works at a university. Safe job under Obama.

My nephew went on an overseas student exchange program and met her. She is a wonderful, caring and funny family member, but I still marvel that my nephew went to Poland and brought home a godless socialist instead of a Catholic capitalist. I think maybe someday she will fit the old definition of a conservative being a liberal who has been mugged by reality.

In the meantime, at least she is willing to offer cocktails to her political foes. There are a lot on both sides who are not capable of civil disagreement any more.

Nope - I don't think the average Dim on the street is one bit nervous - they've been told Obama has it in the bag.

On the other hand, those with half a brain knows there is big trouble - but, many of them bank on voter fraud (more this election than at any other time.) So yeah, they're nervous as hell.

But at the highest ranks of leftist politics, they KNOW Obama is likely toast - yet they hope to pull off a narrow win with their massive disinformation campaign. Of course it won't work - Romney will win - bigger than they would dare imagine.

No, they are not worried. They thought Kerry was a lock, even before the fake exit polls came out. I think it is just in their nature to stick their head in the sand.

With a new president and Obamacare despised, it would be tough for some of these red State Dems to go against will of president who carried their state. Just a thought.

If Harry Reid is still the majority leader the red state dems will no have to worry. Any such repeal of ObamaCere will never leave Harry Reid's desk.

Harry Reid has already threatened such gridlock if Romney wins just a couple of days ago. The same gridlock he's been creating for the last 2 years.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. I’m a conservative and I’m nervous. a rational person should be nervous because nobody knows who will turnout in what numbers tomorrow. But the nervousness is the same nervousness I had before a football game. Slight elevation in adrenaline ready to go. Go Mitt!

Wolf Blitzer looked like a deer in a headlight on the Sit-ua-tion Room today. They were touting the CNN poll that shows Mitt and Owebama tied. It's +11% Dims don't you know...and Wolf knows what that means.

If my tribe controlled the entire ‘mainsteam’ media and had the Vote Fraud Machine in high gear, I wouldn’t be worried one bit about the outcome of the election either.

Looking at DU, they have great disdain for Rasmussen. To them, he’s a right wing shill who is never accurate.

Except he was perfect last time...

What does Rasmussen predict today?

Those at DU are in a state of denial. They have forgotten the Walker recall. They have forgotten the 2010 mid-term. The mere fact that none of them think it will be remotely close tells you a little about how they think.

There was a thread there yesterday, talking about right wing conspiracies and poll internals. The second poster confidently stated that there was no such thing as over-sampling...democrats just randomly answered the poll more than republicans. Childishly wrong. I checked back on that thread several times (during FR blackouts)...nobody in the group corrected him. They just kept piling on to his theory.

Here is how Tuesday will go, if you check in at DU from time to time:

9:00 - Yeah me. I voted for ‘My President’. Hearts and kisses

11:00 - Somebody on facebook said Obama was winning all 57 states....followd by 75 pile on ‘this is great’ posts

1:00 - Jesse Jackson found some illegal alien felon who isn’t registered, who got turned away in Florida....uh oh...the Rethugs are going to steal this.

4:00 - All my Twitter pals say Obama is winning

6:00 - Media starts to report positive Barry exit polling.

8:00 - Whoa, Pennsylvania is looking close...and oops, exit polls were wrong - Florida goes Mitt, per msm.

9:00 - Ohio is too close to call, but Mitt is doing well in Iowa...and Virginia is now in the Mitt column....DU starts their ‘white racists in Virginia’ thread.

10:00 - Romney is leading in Ohio exit polls...but the media ‘wants to be careful’ before calling it. DU launches its ‘voter supression in Ohio, Mitt’s son owns the voting machines’ thread.

10:30 - All the deep south has gone Romney. He’s got NH. He was very close in Pennsylvania but didn’t make it. Mitt has Iowa. He looks to take Nevada. Colorado goes Mitt. DU starts hoping Ohio doesn’t have alot of racists in it.

10:35 - I get one last ‘give me $3’ email...what the heck.

10:45 - Mitt takes Wisconsin. DU threads about ‘my rethug coworker better keep his mouth shut tommorrow’ start.

11:00 - It doesn’t matter anymore, but Ohio goes Romney. CBS news says it will still be a long night, there may be a multi-day recount in Ohio, blah blah.

01:30 - A glassy eyed Obama gives a lackluster concession speech. He praises himself (I did or tried to do everything I promised to do). He will blame Bush one last time (i.e. the word ‘inherited’ will be used). He will congratulate Romney, but not speak at all about workng together.

01:40 - DU starts “I’m going to f@#$% somebody up” threads. DU will have rumors about stolen ballot boxes. Immediate Klintoon Camp vs Kenyan Camp rivalries will break out. DU will note very little movement in the senate...and conclude the ONLY reason Barry lost was his race.

06:00 - At leaat one lost soul on DU thinks Romney is already president. Several threaten to leave the country (again). Chris Mathews is still so drunk he reveals his screen name.

Feel better?
