It's Sir Roger Moore's 85th birthday today, prompting my pick for this week's feature. This 1974 adventure about the world gold market is my favorite non-Moore Bond film. Directed by Peter Hunt("On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). It had fallen into the public domain but this youtube print is the best I think I've ever seen the film look.

Just pinging. This is a must-see film for Bond fans. The Elmer Bernstein score is terrific too.

You’re welcome. Post a review of it here(even if it’s just a simple “thumbs down” or “thumbs up” after you see it. It’s probably the closest film we’ll ever get to a Bond film both set and filmed in South Africa.

“Its probably the closest film well ever get to a Bond film...”
The Harry Palmer films, particularly “The Ipress File” are good stuff.
I’ll give my review.
