It is a “do not track” program that blocks everything.

Thanks for that.

I wondered how Do Not Track Plus stacked up against Ghostery. Apparently very well:

Thanks. I wonder though if it’s not too late, as they already know everything there is to know about us.

I know one thing, homie - once you identify your Internet browser, or just mention a name of an Internet browser, any browser, it’s in a way like mentioning the name Mohammed, provocative, a swarm of wild fools will react immediately with posts saying confidently that it is certifiable evil, (a fact not a conjecture!) literally Communist, abortionist, etc.

A friend 'accidentally' installed Google Chrome because it came with an Adobe Flash update

If you use Linux, installing Chrome is apparently now the only way to get Flash updates. No new versions of Flash will be released for other browsers.

http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/250455/for_flash_on_linux_chrome_will_be_users_only_choice.html

Google Chrome is certifiably evil.

Yet their corporate motto is "Don't be evil." I'd call that Orwellian, but Google has my IP address...

I got the warnings about “Tell the children the truth” last night.
I just brought up the web site and got the warning again.

I have used that web site for ten years without any problems.

I'm getting the warning again now too. Just because you've used the site for a long time doesn't mean some malicious third party hasn't snuck some code onto it recently.

Hmmm Sucuri, google, sophos, and sitetruth are detecting Blackmuscats 5 and some malware on the site. It’s a malicious conditional javascript redirect that send people to a fake antivirus site. It’s been all over the place recently.

Not sure on this one now.
