Kalispell man, 44, dies
A man dressed in a military-style Ghillie suit who was attempting to provoke a Bigfoot sighting was struck by two vehicles and killed on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell Sunday night.
He was trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting, Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said. You cant make it up. I havent seen or heard of anything like this before. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him.
The Flathead County Sheriffs Office identified the man as Randy Lee Tenley, 44, of Kalispell.
Schneider said Tenleys motivations were ascertained during interviews with friends who were not in the immediate area but were nearby when the man was struck at about 10:30 p.m.

Oh come ON!! Bigfoot imitator run over in Flathead? The jokes write themselves!

Tragically, deaths like these will always be unavoidable—Iowahawk.
Sasquatch becomes Sasquish.
This could almost qualify for a “wildlife” ping.
10:30PM it would not yet be dark in Kalispell.
I remember coming out of Moose's Saloon (no windows if I remember clearly) at about that time and I was shocked to find that it was still daylight.
Of course I wasn't wearing cammos as I ran down the street.

“Look at me, I’m in camouflage! No, over here!” [eye roll]
Sounds like a fun place.
Honey, I'll be home when it gets dark.
When cases like this pop up I’m reminded of the saying “Sometimes the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning to others.”
Actually, it is dark around 9:15 this time of year.
On June 21st, it is light around 10:30 pm.
The fires in Idaho are keeping it hazy right now and pretty dark when the sun sets.
Still a tragedy. Poor guy. He seems to have violated a lot of the rules for dressing up as a Sasquatch.
The last one did it during hunting season. Ended up as jerky!
Seriously, that's funny.
How do they know he was trying to look like bigfoot?
