According to my understanding of Florida law, an individual only has to reasonably believe his life is in danger in order to use deadly force. Well, remember the screams of terror in the background of the 911 tapes? The screams just don't last a few seconds- they go on and on for quite a while. They are the epitome of a man who is in sheer terror of losing his life. In fact, this is what Trayvon's own father Tracy told Anderson Cooper:
"He was afraid for his life," says his father, "He saw his death coming. He saw his death coming. The screams got more frantic."

I don’t know...Martin’s dad might testify. Since he initially told the police the screams were NOT his son’s voice...and then, perhaps after he met with the “civil rights activists”, his mind was changed....and he now is CERTAIN the screams are of his son.
Of course, the EYEWITNESS has apparently told a DIFFERENT story.

Just friggen unbelievable! I posted twice on that site and both times within minutes my posts were deleted. I really am angry about that. I do have a right to an opinion just like everyone else. I guess my opinion didn’t run along the lines of the New Black panther lines so I’m squished like a bug.
My comment:
Zimmerman actually stopped following the kid and continued speaking to the 911 responder for quite some time at which point he had no sight of the boy. If everyone would just calm down and listen to what has been said, they would realize that the boy snuck up on Zimmerman and words were exchanged when the youngster then sucker punched him knocking him down and then started smashing his head on the sidewalk. The screams you heard were Zimmermans screams for help. Not the boys! This boy was much taller than Zimmerman and probably decided he didn’t like being watched. So, the end result unfortunately didn’t end with a nice conversation as it should have stating yeah hey man I am visiting my Dad in the neighborhood - no worries. No instead this kid was going to give him a lesson in street wiseness and it didn’t end well now did it! Self defense all the way. What would you do? Let him beat the crap out of you?
2nd time I posted I got rid of the beat the crap out of line, but it still was deleted within minutes of the posting. What is up with that? *scratches head*
Just like the 13 year old black kid walking his dog who witnessed Martin on top of Zimmerman beating him....stories will change and the original testimony forgotten or ignored.

It’s a pose the rappers use a lot in their videos. The next step is to flick it on the ground bill by bill, either as if they don’t really need it or have contempt for the person they’re giving it to.

Martin's dad has since talked to a lawyer and it was explained to him how damaging it would be if his son was NOT the one screaming in terror. once lawyers get involved in this type of situation (along with most things lawyers get involved in) the truth is the first thing to get buried. At this stage, you could play a tape of a pig squealing and his dad would certify it was his son, in terror for his life.
