Is this why Sandra Fluke went public?

Prior to her statements to congressional Democrats, did Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke have any prior connection to Obama administration officials?

Did the congresswomen who pushed Fluke’s testimony coordinate with a marketing and polling outfit that recently conducted a survey to determine whether contraception mandates can become a possible presidential election issue?

According to some reports, it was Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., who pushed for Fluke’s testimony. Maloney also initiated the call for Fluke to sue Rush Limbaugh for his on-air derogatory remark about Fluke, according to the Daily Beast.

Maloney is tied to a progressive pollster, Celinda Lake, who recently ran extensive polling in an effort to gauge voters’ reactions to including birth control or contraception in insurance coverage.

Lake heads Lake Research, which lists both Maloney and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi as recent clients.

During the hearing, Maloney thanked Pelosi “for bringing Sandra (Fluke) to this hearing and for your commitment to these issues that are so important to tens of millions of women and men across our country.”

In a Politico article two weeks ago titled “2012: The year of ‘birth control moms’?” Lake was quoted .......

It was the media that made this one comment by Rush the world's top news for days. The media is trying to destroy Rush as the media destroyed Palin. The media ignores real news like the collapse of Europe, rising gas prices, real unemployment, exploding Obama debt etc. but the media focus on one comment by Rush to destroy him, and the death of a single drug user Whitney Houston to destroy Rush and to distract us from real problems caused by Obama.

Follow the money.

Obamacare mandates that medical insurers cover any FDA-approved contraceptive, including the newer, higher priced patented systems that you see advertised on TV constantly, like Mirena, NuvaRing or Yaz.

When people are paying the bill themselves, most will opt for the low-cost generic, which costs about five dollars a month. But if somebody else is paying the bill, they will opt for the one they see on TV at twenty times the price. The patented systems are much more profitable for the insurance companies.

If you are on a Statin for Cholestrol, your insurance company is pushing you toward the generics, as they become available. If you want the more expensive patented drug, you have to pay the difference out-of-pocket. But Obamacare specifically mandates that any FDA-approved birth control be fully covered, regardless of price.

Follow the money.

Gee I should have sued all those little boys parents whose sons made fun of me through grammar schooL. I spent many days crying, wishing I was dead or injured to make them feel bad so I might feel normal. Their messing with me took me years to feel better about myself. I still deal with what they did and in my 50’s It is sad.

The whole “incedent” is a fraud and a leftist “red herring.” Rush should have seen through it.

Maloney’s husband was killed on an LIRR commuter train, along with a number of other innocent commuters, by a raving nutcase Black Muslim whose stated purpose was to kill some kaffir crackers. She launched her political career based on...ta da...gun control.

You’d think she might have launched it on controlling nutcase Black Muslims and keeping them from killing people (by any means), but she was a good Democrat so she skipped over that part.

And it is I who suggest Rush sue Maloney, Flucke, and Pussie for going before the American people with a ploy to further abortion (murder of UN-born children) birth control con-terry to religious belief.

Question for FR legal beagles:

If Fluck sues Rush, could discovery go into all of the communication and coordination between the WH, rat congress, rat operatives, Media Matters, etc, or would it be restricted in any way?

Yes, it is obviously coordinated, which is why the response has to be coordinated and well-thought. Actually, if the Republican leadership should know what potential ploys the left will use and be ready for them before they happen. If they aren't, they need new consultants - IMHO.

Republicans need to reframe this issue and state that contraception is a personal issue that the government has no role in. Then point out that it is the left that is pushing for government involvement in contraception.

Naaah, no conspiracy here. But, if incidcentally, Rush suddenly loses a number of sponsors, why what a strange outcome this is....

Did this woman (Fluke) actually say something about $3000/year on birth control? I’ve heard that but it doesn’t seem plausible given what that stuff goes for at Walmart...

She’s probably including the cost of whips, chains, dildos, and whistles (thanks George).

Wrong Caroline. The woman whose husband was murdered is Caroline McCarthy from Long Island. This Carolyn represents a district in Manhattan.

Yes. She said a student’s entire summer earnings would not pay for the $3000 in birth control costs they would need while in law school. Of course, they are adding up the cost for 3 years of the drug...and at a price much higher than anyone can find for any particular drug. It is a typical leftist propaganda...an illusion to get women who aren’t paying close attention to vote Democrats to protect them. The facts are, the costs are much lower per year, most have insurance coverage, and those that don’t have low cost options and multiple available programs out there to get reduced or free products if they are in need.

Let her sue Rush for libel. Rush has more money than God. Can you imagine what he will uncover in her past and her family’s past? Libel is often more dangerous for the one who brings suit. And you can bet instigator Carolyn Maloney will be no where to be found once the chips are down.
