The exec, Marlene Albarano, relentlessly ribbed Hunt about his extra poundage, a Brooklyn Supreme Court lawsuit claims — even denying him a promotion solely because of his appearance and once ordering him to walk around the building for 30 minutes on his lunch break, according to court papers.

I think the manager is a jerk and I would never work for such a creep.
So why does/did this employee stay?
In our society we sue for everything. This is not the business of the state and I see no reason for this to be a court case.
In my state (NC) you can fire an employee for any reason or for that matter you can fire them for no reason at all (so long as it is not based on race, religion etc. which are protected by federal law).
Makes more sense to me.
His problem first started because he was NEVER ‘fed-up’.
If the tables had been turned, the male exec would have been fired and the ‘victem’ would be a partner in the company within minutes.
I hope the owners of this company go bankrupt as a result of this female’s actions. I would also see personmal lawsuites against any senior execs who witnessed this behavior and took no action. Go after their houses,cars, and 401k’s. The courtroom should be packed with people ‘of size’. I would depose every overweight female working at the company. If none of them have received the same treatment he can also sue for discimination based on his gender.
The double standards of political correctness must end. The more males are forced to put up with this behavior without recourse, the more they will become uncaring about others who have been mistreated.
