A paratransit bus driver intentionally rammed a Hells Angels biker on Interstate 580, and then dragged him about a mile, killing him, a CHP spokesman said.
The biker, who has not been identified, was traveling eastbound on I-580 in San Leandro near Grand Avenue with a small group of Hells Angels members before 4 p.m. when an altercation began, said CHP Sgt. Trent Cross. After being hit, the motorcyclist and his bike were dragged for about a mile, said San Leandro police Lt. Greg Lemmon. Eventually, the biker was released from under the East Bay Paratransit bus, but the driver kept dragging the motorcycle, which was wedged underneath the front grill, until the vehicle stopped on the shoulder just east of the 150th Avenue onramp.
The Hells Angels biker was flown to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, where he was pronounced dead, Lemmon said.
The bus driver has been arrested, Lemmon said. Police are interviewing four witnesses who saw the incident.
"The preliminary information they are providing was that it wasn't an accident, it was an intentional ramming," Lemmon said.
All eastbound lanes were closed from Grand Avenue to 150th Avenue so police could conduct a homicide investigation over a large swath of freeway, Cross said. The lanes were expected to remain closed until 10 or 11 p.m., he said, and there were significant traffic delays in the area.
An East Bay Paratransit manager referred calls to First Transit, a contract agency that operates the bus. The First Transit representative did not return calls.
No passengers were on board the bus during the collision, said San Leandro police Sgt. Doug Calcagno. The paratransit bus provides door-to-door service for people unable to ride regular public transit because of disabilities.

Also on Saturday, San Jose police served a search warrant at a Stockton house for 38-year-old Steven Ruiz, whom they say killed Tausan. After a lengthy standoff, police determined he was not in the house.
Hells Angels are a 1% club. The organization has been proven to be involved in many many crimes.

It’s the name of that branch of the bus company or authority, so capitalizing it is appropriate.
In Mathew 7:1-5 the point is if you judge unfairly, you will be judged by those same standards. That’s the point about removing the beam from your own eye before you can see clearly the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
My point was, he’s applying some serious charges to every HA around; are every one of them murderers, drug dealers and whatever else he said? Certainly they’re not Saints but if you read my post, it says the ones I knew were great people.
You can find bad people in any group of people.
You do realize I was quoting scripture because in his about me page, he mentions how he’s a Christian. Obviously not a bad thing as I am too but I seem to recall Jesus hung out with some undesirables.
That means even the meanest HA could see the light, repent and become a Christian.
So, since the victim was an HA, we should give the bus driver a medal, hmm?
Besides, I wasn’t saying every HA was a Saint, only the ones I knew.

Hells Angels classically has no apostrophe in it, the idea being, I have been told, that there are a lot of different hells.
But anyhow who would want to carry around the moniker once saved? Since an angel is a messenger, would not that person want to be a heaven’s angel, not hell’s or hells’ or whatever?
Perhaps they are just misunderstood.
Funny, he has no problem with the posts that say the bus driver will probably be killed. Only the posts that say the Hells Angels are criminals.
Perhaps they’ll be nice when they seek retribution.

I think it’s quite possible the HA will try to get the dude offed once he’s in prison. That doesn’t mean that’s a morally good act. Goodness and HA are at best very fickle acquaintances.
Yes God will forgive and save a repentant outlaw and thug and I have led some to Jesus Christ.
What you may see as judgment on my part is I believe straight truth for I know who these guys are and what they do. I am not judging them that is God’s right alone and I know my own sin all to well. You simply do not know who I am and what I do which I cannot go into here, but I will say I have to help a lot of the people who these guys HA and some others like them, destroy.
Young girls gang raped, beaten and terrorized to the point they will do anything and they do, all so these guys can ride HD’s and act like big shots at the their drinking holes. These young girls and women are never the same, their minds and souls are damaged for the rest of their lives except where there is that connection with Jesus Christ and the fullness of healing is theirs. Now lets turn to the addicts, children, the poor, the broken who these “guys” again make their living off of. Ever seen an eight year old on crack, a ten year old meth addict? I have! Lots of child addicts. Lots of child prostitutes here not overseas. It is enough to tear your heart out. HA’s are pigs, shite who only know one thing fear in the form of terror to get they want. They are a rung down from Bin Laden and his followers. They believe in nothing but serving their master satan and what pleasure they can get hurting others.
I can keep going with how they have corrupted police forces and the military and other _______, (which I am not posting in a public forum). How decent honest people have died and disappeared for being at the wrong place at the wrong time and seeing something that cost them their lives at the hands of HA.
“Sweet” huh? Because they did something for you. You simply do not know who they are and the tens of thousands of lives they have destroyed and terrorized, many who ended up dead and not just other gangsters and drug dealers but innocent decent people in far to many cases.
Go and talk to the 16 year old prostitutes and 14 year old crack addicts about how sweet they are? Go talk to the families of murdered young women they have slaughtered. You haven’t a clue what you are dealing with!
I will be fine before God...there is no hate in me for them or anyone else but I do speak plan when I hear this they are “sweet” or “great” guys and other such crap. You can come and help clean up the destroyed lives with me they leave in cities around much of the world and then you can talk about who they are and I guarantee your tune will change.
I knew a bunch of them in Charlotte when i was a kid. I ran with a rough crowd, and had several of the local bikers “take me under their wing” so to speak.
That Church that you were working on is about 1/4 mile from where we hung out off Tuckaseegee. We were closer to Camp Greene.
I grew up catty corner behind Freddy Scarnichia’s Mom, and knew him since I was a kid. He was a motorcycle mechanic that worked on their bikes when I knew him. I lost touch with him, and about 10 years later I read he had become the East Coast Chapter President after Thunder Fizarro was found in a car trunk. A couple years later they found Freddy in a car trunk, or the equivalent.
There was a long running war between the Outlaws, and the Angels, the worst of which was the massacre out on Mt Holly Huntersville Rd in 76 when they found 5 Outlaws, and their women executed.
It’s funny most people don’t know that the guys in leathers, beards, and riding formation, are just the ground soldiers now. The generals wear double breasted suits and drive Porsches and ‘Vettes. At least they did when I hung around them.
I guess the point I was making was the same as yours. I never had a seconds problem from any of them. As a matter of fact, I was a fat kid, and got picked on a lot before I toughened up a little, and those guys helped do that. Plus NOBODY messed with me after they found out I was friends with those guys. I can’t say I didn’t do a lot of stupid things back then, but I also learned a lot of the things that have kept me and my family safe since then. I don’t condone the criminal activity some of them are involved in, but I understand all too well how some of them get swept into that life. It’s fairly exciting when you’re a kid.
I also don’t go all panicky when I see a group of them like most people do. The only knowledge of them coming from the same TV that gives everyone such a wonderful impression of guns. LOL. They might test you, but if you stand your ground and show that you have a set, they’ll respect you for the most part and leave you alone.

That church was the old Garr Tabernacle that used to be the Charlotte Civic Auditorium. In 1928-9, Dr. Alfred G. Garr bought the building for scrap and moved it, literally brick by brick, to Tuckasegee Road.
That was a pretty rough area when you hung out there. By the time that I was doing ministry there in 1995, it was over run with crack heads, pimps, and “ladies of the night”.
It is remarkable to me that some of us survived our youth and others that should have did not fair so well. Perhaps God allows for a brief moment of our lives to be lived in the sewer so that we can reach others with our testimonies when we turn it around.

I’m not that good. It is just that I can remember where I was when Jesus found me, and I know that God looks on every human soul with love and compassion no matter what darkness resides there. It is my job to help as many as I can to turn from darkness to light. Time is short. At 63, I probably only have another forty years or so before I have to throttle the ministry back a bit :).
The things you mentioned happen in any crime syndicate. I said that the ones I knew were cool, not every HA in the world.
I always thought HAs were into meth, not crack, either way it’s a horrible drug.
My point is you paint with too broad a brush.
I’m not the only one on this thread saying good things about HAs and one poster’s post made a great point, where’s the people complaining about a bus driving deliberately hitting and dragging a biker?
Where did I say they were sweet?
Do you concentrate on saving the souls of those corrupted by HAs only or do you deal with the ones that are parts of gangs like Crips or Bloods.
If you’re working towards helping these lost souls, then good for you; even if you save only one, you’ve made a difference in that person’s life, that I can respect.

We have a government employee who took it upon himself to KILL another person. Perhaps it will be someone you care for next time.
