1. South Park
2. Chappelles Show
3. The Jerry Springer Show
4. Family Guy
5. Da Ali G Show
6. In Living Color
7. All in the Family
8. Married With Children
9. Soap
10. Jackass
This is a good list, but there are so many other shows that equally offensive - we would need a top 100 list to even scratch the surface.
How was In Living Color offensive and to whom?
“In Living Color” was groundbreaking television. Among other things, it introduced Jim Carrey to stardom.
And anyone who thinks “All in the Family” was offensive is an idiot. Pure and simple.
South Park is number one, not just for rudeness, but for being the most politically incorrect show out there!
All in the Family? I don’t think so. I loved Archie stickin’ it to Meathead.
I would of thought that
CBS news
NBC news
ABC news
CNN
MTV
would have been at the top of the list
1,2,4,6,8 were great.
I find Friends more offensively stupid and unwatchable than any of those.
Friends = female moron vision - sorry -
If by “insensitive to those who are easily offensive”, I would say this is a fairly good list.
If you mean “offensive”... well, any list that doesn’t have “Full House” on the list is full of it. That was the most offensive show ever as it broke the three rules of comedy (1. Be funny 2. Be funny 3. At least make an attempt to be funny) and then it coupled it with Bob Saget.
I loved All In The Family. Norman Lear tried to make Archie the bad guy but the audience ended up loving him and despising Meathead.
Where’s “The Book of Daniel”? Or does that not count since its only purpose was to smear Christians?
Remember the gay movie reviewers. They played with a lot of stereotypes on that show, stereotypes are almost always offensive, and wielded well hilarious. Most of the shows on that list would also occupy a top 10 comedy list.
“All in the Family” wasn’t even “offensive”, to use modern PC-speak, at the time it was on the air. Norman Lear, a huge liberal, was using Archie to educate about racism and prejudice and received many accolades for it from all sides. Why is “Maude”, which was a spin-off featuring the big lib feminist character not included?
And why not “M*A*S*H”, using this logic it obviously glorified war... (sarc)
“Married with Children” was just plain funny as hell. Whoever put this list together is a dolt.
I saw that maybe a couple of times and was impressed by their no mercy attitude. Everyone in the public eye was target.
Heidi Bowl
The Heidi Game or Heidi Bowl was an American football game played on November 17, 1968. The home team, the Oakland Raiders, defeated the New York Jets, 4332. The game is remembered for its exciting finish, as Oakland scored two touchdowns in the final minute to overcome a 3229 New York lead.
The Heidi Game obtained its name because the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) controversially broke away from the game with the Jets still winning to air the television film Heidi at 7 p.m. in the Eastern Time Zone.
On realizing that NBC was switching away from the game, Goodman said to Lindemann by phone, “Where the hell has our football game gone?” During the station break which began with the network announcement, Goodman called a BOC phone to which only he knew the number and which was not part of NBC’s CIrcle-7 exchange (which blew a fuse 26 times in an hour). When Cline answered it, Goodman ordered him to go back to the game. Although Cline knew there was no way to reconnect the feed, he promised to do the best he could. By the time the game ended at 7:07, thousands of viewers were calling the network to complain about missing the end of the football game. Others called newspapers, television stations, even the New York City Police Department, both to seek the final score, and simply to vent.
In Oakland, Gowdy and his broadcast partner, Al DeRogatis, left the broadcast booth to tell Ellis that the final two minutes were the most exciting they had ever seen. Ellis replied, “It’s too bad America didn’t see it”.
In an attempt to inform the audience of the outcome of the game, NBC flashed the final score across the screen. It did so just as Heidi’s paralyzed cousin, Klara, was taking her first, slow steps. According to sportswriter Jack Clary, “The football fans were indignant when they saw what they had missed. The Heidi audience was peeved at having an ambulatory football score intrude on one of the story’s more touching moments.
“Countdown with Keith Olbermann”
“The Ed Show”
“The Rachel Maddow Show”
“Hardball”
“Morning Joe”
The TV show “Soap” was funny.
The correct term is "meathead". Geez!

There were a whole series of "Handi-Man" skits, and they were hilarious, but some people were really ticked off.
