And if she runs and doesn’t even get the nomination, that is even worse cause then no one will pay her to listen her talk.

I actually agree. As it is, there is a sizable group of people who believe she's the second coming of Reagan. No candidate can live up to those expectations if they are challenged in the context of an election. There's more notoriety and money in not running, and less long-term risk.

If that’s the best you can offer, you can be cute if you want to. It doesn’t matter to me. Multiple interpretations of intent with constantly changing deadlines for announcement aren’t helping her. The first four GOP state primaries are about to call her hand.

We do all have the same goal.Obama is hell bent on destruction of this country and is now desperate and has a puppet Purdue spouting suspending elections. If you want to talk like reasonable conservative adults. This issue is forefront.

In reading this thread alone; it is all a ridiculous argument. All of the people in this thread that are sick of the SP cult are not being personal in the infighting about what SP is doing or not.Read this entire thread. Some conservatives are looking at the big picture of the rumors that Morris is spouting that Obama will step down and we have a Clintoon or puppet thereof to contend with.We need a strong candidate to beat Obama or Hillary or Bayh.

These fellow conservatives that are trying very hard to use humor at the; everything is a conspiracy against SP are embarrassed that some; all on a small string of hope are saying Palin or nobody and they will write in her name even it it means Obama. This is what we see.It is as scary to us as the daily Obama articles of atrocities and corruption we all read and post daily. The mere logic of a SP secret campaign well funded; to save us all from global marxism and Obama or another lying fake moderate Clintoon commiecrat; does not compute.

I watched Undefeated and GET SP.But I don’t GET putting all my eggs in one basket on a small string of hope from someone that is leading more to being a damned good compass in a strong voice for the tea party.i e....she (SP) does not need a title.Or a damned good energy secretary and drill in Pelosi’s backyard. Yet...we are told by SP bots that SP will not settle for anything but POTUS.SP does not have this arrogance. TELL ME WHY DO THEY? Or...are the ones saying this trolls?

Most of the SP ping list supporters that act as silly self appointed SP campaign managers with dates and theories name call, bash every other candidate all in the name of someone that MAY not be running. This is frightening and embarrassing.I was told some are trolls trying to cause schism.(See my post history for the link to this)I believe earlier in this thread to CGGM.

The diehard SP bots are on the defensive and when they are called on the complete silliness of they’re conspiracy secret SP plan theories they attack, spin, tattletale like children and call admin to zot all non SP bots like a gang bully pulpit. As you can view in this thread there are a lot that are embarrassed (so we use humor as it is surreal) that others will read and think all conservatives are like this and the DUmmies and Daily KAOSER’s that read and laugh as they see schism.

The rest of us that have not decided or are not a supporter of someone not running are sick to death of being called names and called deranged because we don’t make up stories as we go along about what SP will do.When I try to express this to some of them they post a crybaby pic.Fine, but stop acting like one calling mommy and sidebar moderator.

If I ask to agree to disagree I am flamed and told on and get crybaby pictures. So humor is now the only recourse as you can see in this thread.

You just said what I took way more than a few paragraphs to say. Thank you and next time I won’t TRY to say what you said so nicely as to try to bridge this GAP; as they either don’t understand or care too understand.I am probably already getting flamed for my last post so from now on I will just say your one sentence.

When I saw they posted an article from HILLBUZZ to they’re I mean SP’s defense it became clear that there is no compromising with desperation.

Multiple interpretations of intent with constantly changing deadlines for announcement aren’t helping her.

Palin has no control over what other people say.

And the first few primaries mean nothing, just like the first few debates.

The fact that the field positions are in such flux tells you there is plenty of time and room for another candidate.

But you'll figure that out after the fact.

But you'll figure that out after the fact. So will you, in fact. While she can't 'control' what other people say, she has an awful lot of die-hard Don Quixotes tilting at windmills for her right now. If I'm wrong, I just might end up voting for her, nothing lost. In the other case, what in the heck are you going to do then?

If Palin was not going to run, she would have said so long ago. She knows that if she strings her supporters along just to let them down, she is done forever.

First of all, citizen-politicians -- hockey moms and NASCAR dads in politics, people with lives of their own outside Washington -- aren't going to be as predictable as professional politicians who are always intent on making their way up the ladder.

That's their strength, and also their weakness. They won't force themselves on you in every election, but you won't be able to force them to run, even if you think it's essential that they do.

Second, four years is a long time -- a lifetime -- in politics. Four years from now, if she wants to run it won't matter much whether she ran this time or she didn't or whether she said right out that she wouldn't run or just let the clock run out. People will have other things to talk about.

Third, Sarah's fans are exceptionally motivated and loyal and positive about her. If you'd drop her like a brick for not running this time, there are other fans who wouldn't.

Try it out. Think of what she could say to make this all go away if she decided to run in 2016 (which she may not want to do anyway): she wanted to wait and get more perspective or to sort out her family situation, or she thought one or two of the other candidates would do just fine, or she knew she wasn't going to run but wanted to use the threat of running to keep the other candidates on the straight and narrow. That will work for a lot of people.

Some people look on her as some kind of savior. I think they go too far, but even if she does have great potential, she has to wait for her moment (assuming she actually wants that kind of role).

I don’t know. I know Crist was a Rino. And I think that I read it could cost Florida delegates. So where is the benefit?

"Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar."

Sometimes, the decisions of a State of 19 million citizens have to do with 19 million Floridians and not with somebody in Alaska named "Sarah" or a fat Governor in New Jersey.

For far too many Presidential Elections, the Presidential candidates have spent an inordinate amount of attention and have kissed far too many butts in a state such as Iowa that, no offense Conservativegreatgrandma, is only ONE SIXTH as populous as Florida.

Well, guess what? That's going to change this time around and also for the future.

From now on, and for years to come, Presidential candidates will be wooing my family in FLORIDA and Iowa and New Hampshire will play second fiddle. If, for months, Presidential candidates are going to be kissing butt in a population of 3 million, from now on, they will be doing so in a place called "Miami-Dade County" and not in a place called "The State of Iowa".

Nothing personal, Conservativegreatgrandma. It's just hard ball politics.

If that costs Florida some delegates in 2012, so be it. Check out the Miami Herald blogs in the Sports section regarding the Miami Dolphins. The Miami fans are taking the "Suck for Luck" attitude: Root that the Dolphins lose now so that Coach Tony Sparano gets fired, a decent Coach is hired and we can draft Andrew Luck with the Number 1 draft pick. You make a sacrifice today for a huge payoff in future years.

But, if you want to believe that this is a tin-foil hat conspiracy that is all about Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, knock yourself out.

Excuse me but my quote came from a Floridian who works in politics. I also pinged her in my original post (174) on this. ANYTHING that I posted came from her. AND apparently there are laws in Iowa and NH that make their states legally have to move up their dates now.

Before making stupid remarks you might want to get all the info first.

Oh and, btw, WHERE in that quote from my post was there ANYTHING about Palin? Nowhere. You have a fixation on Sarah Palin and I don’t think it’s a healthy one.

Well, that's nice that you know a Floridian who "works" in politics.

When Presidential candidates come to South Florida to fund raise, they often do it at my cousin's house. The first time I dropped by for one of those was back in 1996. While Jack Kemp gave his speech in the back patio, my wife and I spent half an hour with his wife, Joanne, chatting about living in the San Diego, CA area where we lived then and where the Kemps lived while Kemp played for the San Diego Chargers .

Regardles of whether the Iowa and New Hampshire dates are moved up, if three states have their primaries in the same time frame, the 800 pound gorilla, not the chimp one sixth it's size, will still be the center of attention.

As I said, sometimes the decision having to do with a state of 19 million have to do with State of Florida power politics and 19 million Floridians and not some woman in Alaska named "Sarah" who is playing a teasing game with her fans.

Those debates are setups by the left and the others "go through all that" because they are too stupid to pick and choose. They play the lefts game and get hammered. How is that Palins fault?

Candidates should REFUSE until the left gets serious about honest debates.

Ah! Saint Sarah of the Trademark is so wise and wonderful to duck these debates.

When it comes to spinning, you can't outdo a Palinista.

The first televised debate was Kennedy vs Nixon. The debate was Kennedy’s idea. Nixon lost. LBJ refused to debate Goldwater. He knew he’d lose. They were and are a Dem/liberal idea. Tell me, how many of the debates are run by conservatives? Liberals ask question of the “R’s”. How many conservatives run the Dem debates? It doesn’t take a genius to see it’s a set up. Libs control the media. IF the candidates demanded changes before they’d debate, as a GROUP, we might actually get decent debates instead of “Gotcha’s”.
