Two identical space probes are on their way to the moon, after launching today (Sept. 10) on NASA's newest lunar science mission aimed at unlocking mysteries of the moon that are hidden beneath its surface.

Less than two hours after their launch, the twin Grail-A and Grail-B probes were deployed, setting them en route to their lunar destination.

Searching, I suppose, for the holes where the Heechee hid.

Or to find out why the Silence wants to go to the moon?

See that picture! Smack dab in the center of the Moon's South Pole is the deepest planetary hole in our Solar System.

Used to have an axle stuck in there ~ and a big boom arm ~ the space aliens mined away much of our crust over 3 billion years ago and launched their silicate and carbonate prize off toward the asteroid belt for recovery for use in their great space traveling homes.

That was after they'd finished with Venus where they used mercury to provide the slingshot for the products of the mines.

So, now you know the secret of why we are launching two highly sophisticated deep mining probes to that same territory.

There's stuff in there we might want!

Were Muslims involved in this in any way? It would be cruel and racist not to include them.

Wow. A mission that has nothing to do with studying global warming or encouraging mooseling self esteem? Is this on the level?

Space exploration. I wonder if NASA remembers how.

Maybe that’s where Obozo’s real birth certificate, SSN, College Transcripts, etc, are. They certainly are not anywhere on this planet. Surely to goodness SOMEONE would have found them by now.
