With Hurricane Irene preparing to strike the United States, I have a few questions:
1)Why is President Obama still in Martha's Vineyard as of 12:17 EST? Was this not the same Man who was very critical of the government response in the aftermath of Katrina and boosted if he was in charge, the response would have been better? Why is he not in Washington leading all preparation efforts.
2)Where are his fellow Democrats like Harry Reid, Dick Durban and the rest of the Congressional Bunch, who was also very critical in the aftermath of Katrina? Why have they not return to Washington to help President Obama prepare for this major storm?
3)Will this President play politics with federal aid once again as areas with Republican Governors or States that he did not win in 2008 be denied any federal help as Texas was during this year's wildfires.
4)Will he play politics with the clean up once again as he will appear at selected clean up site, pick one piece of wood, hugs some Democrat plant and boast that the federal government will be there for them in a what will clearly be an election year ploy?
He hates Black people.
He hasn’t had his fill of lobster, wagu, shrimp, oysters, clams, golf, and bicycling....yet
because he can stop the seas from rising....
Let’s hope he’s going to try for a King Canute moment.
Because the odds of post-hurricane looting and rioting are much smaller in MV than DC.
Don’t you think he will wait until around six this evening when the TeeVee audience grows?
Will he and the Missus be returning on separate jets?

Our maximum leader is as stubborn as he is stupid...the more folks complain about his staying on vacation, the more determined he bocomes to do precisely that. This pattern has been seen over and over in issue after issue.
Don’t criticize Obama for going on vacation.
The stock market started recovering as soon as Obama left town. I wish he would go on vacation every week. Even with the millions of dollars that each of his vacations cost the taxpayers it is worth it just to have him out of the way.
He doesn’t know enough to come in out of the rain...

If Obama came back to the White House to lead in Hurricane aid , he would screw it uo like he screws up everything. Hopefully he will stay in Mass. until the storm approach’s and then fly to Iowa for another bus trip.

Because he is a self-centered expletive. With all the prep that Martha’s Vineyard has to make, they don’t need that expletive hogging the airport or roads. And how about all the gov’t personel that are with him, or the Vineyardans who are there to service him. Shouldn’t they be at their own homes right now?
Words don’t escape me. I just don’t want to get in trouble by saying them.
Obama can rest assured that the media will not blame him for any shortcomings in the federal response--rather it will be a chance for them to remind them of how Bush screwed up after Hurricane Katrina ("because he hates black people").
Obama did declare North Carolina a disaster area because of the hurricane. I'm waiting to hear this praised as another "gutsy call."

I’ve been wondering where he was going to go. DC is going to take a direct hit so he cannot return to the WH.
My guess? The staff and the SS are frantically trying to line up a snazzy vacation spot in California or Colorado for his remaining vacation time.
Of course, he could just go home to Chicago for...........Nah. Head west it is.
