S&P Futures Down 30 points at open

S&P futures opened a couple of minutes ago, down 30 points, equivalent to about 250-300 on the Dow.

There was a huge pool of bid/ask right at the open. As I type it's starting to move up a bit.

Dow futures open about 1800 Central Time don’t they?

Last week, on Thursday, the DOW futures were up during the night and we remember what happened there. I had checked in the morning thinking things were OK and didn’t look again until the late afternoon.... so much for the futures as a predictor either way?

No even.. This site scoops on a regular basis. I can't begin to tell you how many times FR has broke a story and Drudge or another outlet comes waddling along afterwards.
