Tarpon Springs, Florida -- William Kilgore says he believes the Tarpon Springs Police Department wanted to intimidate him with his arrest in January when he and his friend, Tommy Frain, were taping a Tarpon Springs Police officer on the street.
Frain says he believes there is no question the Tarpon Springs Police did something wrong.
Pinellas State Attorney Bernie McCabe apparently agrees. His office refused to prosecute Kilgore, who refused to turn over his video camera.

Pinellas? Wasn’t that where that disabled lady was starved to death so elegantly?
Good dude. We need more Americans like him.
A lot of cops have been caught out by videotaping, it’s no wonder they’ll break the law by intimidating people not to scrutinize their actions.
Good for him. Cops who arrest people for merely videotaping their activities very likely know they are—or intended to—engage in behavior which they did not want recorded.

There really should be a way to hold “Individual” Officers responsible for their actions... without having them hold some kind of special “Citizen” status, just a loop hole that will give some of these “egos” pause to remind them that we are them and they are we and it’s not “them” vs “us”
Most are simply Tax Collectors for the City anyway... but some just think they are as Omnipotent as 0bama ...
small vent ... I’m done

Yep, cops ... the curse of society. /s
Unfortunately police officers often times are ignorant of laws.
Gun poscession, filming, etc.
Also cops do not like being taped in case they are doing anything incorrectly while preforming their duties

Yes. She was in Largo, Fl. My g-mother was in the same facility. But her location was “secret”.
Glad to hear this.
