A media company is asking a judge to release a new mug shot of Jared Loughner.
A hearing is scheduled in San Diego today regarding whether to release records about a man accused of opening fire outside a grocery store in Tucson last month, killing six people and injuring 13 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
The motion hearing for 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner is believed to be the first in San Diego since the case was assigned to U.S. District Judge Larry Burns of the Southern District of California.
A media company is asking Burns to release a new mug shot of Loughner, along with records showing which items investigators took in a search of the defendant's home following the Jan. 8 shooting.

1) Is coached to blame Palin, jury acquits, prosecution has to appeal, winds up taking 20 years, writes books, becomes a celebrity from within prison and getting sentenced to life
2) Is pardoned by Obama and hailed as a hero fighting against Zionist aggression
3) Convicted in 2 months, appeals, 1 month later loses appeal and is hung at noon in Tombstone, er, Tuscon.

I am still waiting to hear why he was never arrested.

A "media company?" Why is KFI being so delicate in not naming the media company. Is this something cooked up by John and Ken? I never know where those guys are coming from...
I took it as they are trying to replace his current mug shot so the jury will see a different one. I also see this is the only place I have seen this news. Other media silent. Of course I have not looked elsewhere.
Probably looking for a photoshop combining a current clothing and bald head with his 8th grade photo face.

Thanks for the link to the article. Apparently, defense is trying to block the alternate mug shot, probably portrays him more as a criminal than a “crazy” guy (the photo we are familiar with). The media outlets are trying to get the court to unseal evidence seized from perp’s apartment. Prosecution is resisting this, as they should. It looks like a situation, as usual, of media pretending to be judge and jury and get ahead of the legal proceedings.
