Apologies for not having this up a few weeks ago. I had been in OKC & when home there was the SOTU.

No more HULU n NO MORE ABC showing past episodes. Financial gain the reason no doubt. Can have short synopsis at the ABC site of past episodes.

Understand there are some "underground" sources for free viewing. If anyone can share these, that would be great.

This show could have been good. They chop up the eps so badly I feel like I am watching Lost again. I couldn't make to the end of "Lost" because of the editing and have lost any real desire to watch "V" because of the same.

I'll admit the scheduling is odd but outside of the normal soap opera stuff that is a part of all TV shows I do think they've opened up at least two interesting story lines;

1) The Priest is a strong character who is being attacked by false witness.

2) The aliens have id'd the soul as the source of humaness and are attemting to find out where, how, why, what it is.

I think the whole soul question could be mined for interesting plot developments.

Agreed. I watched Detroit 1-8-7 for a bit and Hawaii Five O for a while. They were well done, but enough of the cop shows already.

I saw a movie a week ago, don’t remember the name. There was a cute woman in it.
Played a wife that ‘strayed’ at every chance.
Really cute, she looked familiar but I couldn’t place her.

I find it somewhat amusing when I think of the type of shows that will mention the soul; where, normally in t.v. shows, I think they really avoid anything Christian unless it is to bash the religion. V and Buffy, The Vampire Slayer and Angel (about a vampire with a soul) wouldn't seem likely shows to examine the soul of humans; but there you are.

I remember when Tbs or TNT were beginning to show reruns of Angel (after it had been cancelled by its network). The promo spoke of a "vampire with a conscience". The promo could not bring itself to use the word "soul", yet the show used it constantly.

I’m disturbed by the use of religion — the Catholic Church — in this episode. But, as long as they don’t bash the Pope, I’m willing to watch it.

Yes, the demonstartion of a "miracle" of blue energy was infantile.

Every Bible literate person knows that demons have the ability to do extraordinary things. It's a skinny plot device to have a Cardinal at the Vatican be wowed by such simple theatrics.

Furthermore, to imply that Christianity is based soley upon miracles is denigrating to Christians.

But, afterall, its a TV show, so we'll see where it goes.

Yes, the idea that a TV drama could do justice to a concept like the human soul is a stretch. But even if they can address it in an honest, if superficial level then its more than most TV shows will do.

Yeah, I agree. Not a single Priest in that room wouldn’t have said “Faith is not based on miracles”, not a single Cardinal would have told Anna that the magicians of Pharoah produced miracles to counter Moses?

Well this is embarrassing ((and annoying)).

Stretched out for a quick nap at 7:30 & just woke up at 3:00 AM!

Just curious, Why doesn't the Female FBI Agent just tell her son that his “girlfriend” is a Lizard?

What makes it even creepier is that she knows her son and the Lizard are having sex. With the set of teeth those Aliens have hidden away, I hope the kid isn't letting the Lizard girlfriend give him a Lewinsky. While I like the Alien Invasion premise, how this obvious fact could be kept from the general population for so long makes little sense. Catch an Alien, skin it and post the You Tube video, problem solved.

Should have been setup as a miniseries. The longer the ruse goes on, the less credible the story line IMHO.

Then again, two years in and Obama still has a 50% plus approval rating. The Aliens would win easily.

Suspending disbelief while watching a movie for two hours is one thing, V is something entirely different. I'm psyching myself up for Cowboys and Aliens. Not only is it taking place in the late 1800’s, Daniel Craig (James Bond) is the lead character. That should be a hoot and it will require the same belief system that the idiot Sheeple have when listening to an Obama speech.

I watched The Invaders with Roy Thinnis as a kid. The Aliens looked just like us but they had a problem with their pinky finger not bending right. That cracked me up. They come millions of light years and have ray guns, but they couldn't fix the pinky finger problem. LOL

Episodic Sci Fi just opens up more plot holes as every week goes by. I like the show, but it is starting to drag. I guess I want to see more cool spaceships than plot lines. The people who know that they are dealing with Lizards, friendly or not, treat them like any other people which would be impossible for a rational person to pull off.

At least the special effects beat the 80’s series by a mile.

Turning in. Trying to make sense of an Alien invasion fantasy is making me tired.

I have been watching those trailers at the theater with big interest. I am a big Daniel Craig fan.

The firefly series was a bit of old west meets star trek mentality. Saw a few of the series that my brother had on DVD when I visited him last month in OKC

Also the newest Transformers looks interesting.

I do movies regularly.. several times a week usually. Have not gotten into too much re: TV just because I detest commercials.

I am really pissed this isn't on I-Tunes. I downloaded all of Season 1 and I am able to download Fringe. But for some reason ABC isn't letting you buy episodes, or watch on hulu or ABC.

Isn't this just inciting people to watch it illegally???

I'm worried my DVR is going to run out of room because I am going to try and save the entire season till the Blu-Ray comes out.
