It was on Fox an hour ago. By then they said they “had” the suspect.
Navy Vet posted on FR right after it happened. Now sounds (per omaha.com) like it was a student that did the shooting. Per some FB info my daugther found, sounds like he was suspended from school this morning (first day back after holiday). Then came back to shoot the principal and vice principal. Then shot himself later. The shooter was said to have been the son of Omaha police detective.
It is very sad.
Is this like the third shooting today? Not that I don’t think there are multiple shootings every day.

Millard..can remember when it was annexed by Obama. Wonder if anyone remembers there was a time capsule buried at the Millard High school in 1967. It is near the flag pole. Forgot when it was supposed to be opened.

Who did this and why?
I find it difficult to rationalize the thinking of someone who kills someone, thinking it would make the world better for them, and then shoots themselves. It must be downright evil that provokes it...or drugs.

Millard is supposed to be the “better” school district than Omaha Public. My son went to Northwest (also known as “Fort Apache”) and the only shooting there was when some gangsta wannabe blew a hole in his own leg.
Between this and the Westroads Mall shooting a few years ago, you better believe insanity can happen anywhere.
Apparently, the shooter did not know that guns are outlawed in a school area today. The Principal was duly obeying this law.
Couldn’t have really happened. I’m sure the school is a “gun free zone”.
