Soooo?????
They have to change the voting then.
Brandy is not liked. She has a TUDE.
We know... the Palins are NOT the mccains.
LLS
I'm not sure what I've done to elicit your ire, but your childishness it laughable. You are welcome to ignore my posts.
Even though Jennifer Grey is a great dancer, I think she has an unfair advantage since she did have professional training for a movie about dancing.
...just to tweek the liberals in the media and show the power of the Palin family supporters.
It also works a little bit like a political caucus. Some of the people who were voting for whomever was voted off will now divide their support among remaining contestants.
Thirty years ago. LOL
I plan to vote ten times on every phone I have for Grey.
Some people think Jennifer shouldn’t be on the show because she is mostly known as a dancer in a movie about dancing.
Bristol Palin did not make the rules and format for the TV program.
As Maks said last night, the person who has the most votes wins. I don’t like him. He is a hot head who can’t take the judge’s criticisms. But I appreciated hearing him share his history of coming to this country. Bristol had more votes so she stays. Simple as that.
I’ve seen most of her dances and some of the others. I’m not so sure I’d go with ‘marvelous’ after a couple of months of full-time top professional training.
But I think you’re kidding yourself if you think she’s been voted to stay on the island (so far) due to her stunning performances. I’ve yet to see her look like she’s got beyond straining to remember and execute the steps.
Thirty years ago. I think she is, by far, the best dancer. Why vote for someone who can hardly dance as opposed to someone who can?
Forget Prince Andrew -this would be an event to celebrate.
HOpe she does find a nice service man.
No judgment (or really caring) on my part of how the winners are selected. The rules are the rules and if Bristol wins she wins.
But when posting the article Zakeet implied that Palin critics were inaccurately seeing the influence of Sarah’s popularity on Bristol’s success. I don’t think it is any great disloyalty to any of the Palins or to the conservative cause to acknowledge that that does appear to be the case.
No. She forgot to vote, seriously.
Brandy has done many music videos.....most of which also contain dancing.
The other guy is a Disney kid...and I can’t imagine THAT doesn’t involve SOME dancing too.....
I like your post best.
I agree that Jennifer is a wonderful dancer but I’ve also read a lot of posts this season & a lot of different emotions are in play here. Fair or unfair? Personally, I think Bristol deserved to be in the semi-finals. She was no worse than any of the others who left before then. Personality will always play some part in any competition & my guess is that Kyle could take it all.Three weeks ago I thought he should be gone but he’s improved considerably the past two weeks & has the likeability factor going for him. We shall see.
She and Jennifer have an unfair advantage over Bristol in that they both have professional dance experience. Brandy and Jennifer have both done dance-related movies and Jennifer's father, Joel Grey, is an accomplished actor, dancer and choreographer. Brandy has done choreography for her singing concerts. Bristol came to the competition with ZERO dance experience and zero experience performing in front of large crowds. She's been pitted against two pros. The viewer votes is the ONLY way to allow a non-dancer like Bristol to have a chance when pitted against professionals, otherwise why even allow non-dancers to compete with those with much experience.
As for Bristol "walking through her dancing," I don't know which Bristol you have been watching! She has consistently improved and received high praise from the judges for her dance Monday. The contest is a combination of judges scores and caller support. It never has been JUST about being technically the best dancer! Was Kelly Osborn really that good to make it to the finals when she was on? The people who voted for her thought so.
I feel bad for Brandy too, but Bristol, with no previous dance experience, has been working her butt off to compete in this and people often will vote for the underdog. If DWTS wants to change how the contest is determined, fine, but until then, sometimes the underdog is going to prevail! Its for a cheesy dance ball, not the Nobel prize!
