Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol won through to the final of hit US show "Dancing with the Stars", bouyed by public support in defiance of judges' skepticism about her dance floor talents.
As her mother continues to shine in the political spotlight, the 20-year-old is enjoying the media limelight generated by her unexpected success on the hugely popular TV talent show.
Palin was again ranked last by judges in the semi-final of the show, in which celebrities partner with professional dancers, but voting by viewers pushed her score with partner Mark Ballas up into third place.

Like her mother, Bristol is a hit with the public despite experts' scorn, in what some commentators say could take the younger Palin all the way to the top in next week's final.
"Bristol will now go on to win the whole shebang. She doesn't deserve it. Everyone knows it, even, I suspect, the people who keep voting for her," predicted Lisa Gutierrez on the Kansas City Star newspaper's website.

Bristol has a nearly two-year-old son with her on-off boyfriend Levi Johnston. Her unplanned pregnancy became a talking point during the 2008 White House campaign, which made her America's most famous teenage mother.

According to the Newsers: Bristol has absolutely no talent and would have been eliminated long ago if not for the influence of her unpopular mother and the evil Tea Party idiots ... and she deserves to lose anyway because she refused to kill her unborn baby.
She hasn’t been winning because of her dancing.
She’s won nothing yet. She’s yet to be eliminated because of the show’s inherent flaw; it’s a popularity contest as opposed to a dance contest.
It’s worth remembering that “she” hasn’t been winning at all. The couples are rated as couples.
Not even a Palin could get me to watch this show.
Kinda felt bad for Brandy....she’s a much better performer than Bristol. I have enjoyed watching Bristol and think she’s doing a great job for having absolutely no experience, but she is not good enough to be in the finals.
Amen to that!
But it is fun to watch the lefties flagellating all over the place. LMAO!!
We don’t even know if she’s a conservative. She could’ve voted for Obama for all we know.
I'll let you in on a big secret.
Shhhhhhhhh, lean in close....
It's a television show designed to attract viewers.
The question is, is their a strappy young Marine out their watching this that has to meet her :-)... She needs a good hubby.
In Italian.... ogni pentola ha il suo coperchio
I'm sure the judges on the show are libs, and it must irritate them to no end to have to see a ‘Palin’ EVERY show.
No shyt Sherlock. It’s also a contest that will eventually have a winner. But I’m sure you knew that, even if your post belies that simple fact.
I’m sure Brandy is a lib also. And even though she has befriended Bristol she probably hates her mother Sarah. Most libs do, not because they have any real reason to, but because the liberal media has told them to.
The show set these rules, and she should win if she gets the most votes, pure and simple. Next weekend my family will be calling in to vote for her, though we haven’t voted before, just to see the media heads explode. It’s one of life’s little pleasures.
I would have put the term "winner" in quotes, since that aspect of the show has nothing to do with it's purpose. Just like the "reality" shows which are ultimately scripted through careful editing, the show's producers create a product that keeps people watching. Cloris Leachman was kept on the show because her dancing was so bad it was hilarious. People kept watching just to see how badly she would do next week. The contest has absolutely nothing to do with dancing, or even popularity. It's all secondary to ratings.
Did Brandy get eliminated last night? If she did what a shame. She and Jennifer are the best dancers on there.
I love Bristol, but she walks through her dancing. Brandy on the other hand has turned into a splendid dancer.
I thought for sure it would be between Brandy & Jennifer Gray. I am rooting for Jennifer. She is very close to my age(I am a year or two older than her).
Do you have something more to share than your warped view of reality...it's really quite boring.
Dear 9 year... have you watched her? She is precious. Absolutely marvelous dancer for one who never even danced at a school dance.
If Jennifer Grey doesn’t win the show is a farce.
