Dancing with the Stars 2010 Week 4 Spoilers and... (Vote for Bristol Palin 8:00 Mon ET)
Associated Content ^ | 10/9/10 | Sherry Wight

DWTS Week 4 airs tonight & will feature these celebrities:

Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani...Argentine Tango. She set the bar high during week 3 with her 'last dance with Tony' waltz, earning a season-topping 26 points.

Brandy & Maksim Chmerkovskiy...Rumba. No amount of 'I love Maks' tape across the mouth will make me love the singer & actress, whose bizarre & diva-esque behavior has taken the sizzle out of her step.

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas...Rumba. Whether or not the teen activist can pull off a sultry, sexy Rumba is one of the most anticipated mysteries.

Her more voluptuous figure could lend itself nicely to a sizzlin' sling around the ballroom, but if she can't loosen up, no amount of curvy appeal can save her from the judges' punishing paddles or the glare of the red lights.

Florence Henderson & Corky Ballas, Rumba. Her week 3 Edelweis Waltz was sweet, but the thought of the actress taking on the dance of love is a little scary.

Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough...Argentine Tango. Can they really break through this week & earn a 9 or two? I think so.

Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya...Rumba. One of Kurt's strengths in the ballroom is his natural elegance & grace.

Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer...Rumba. Lacey's going to have to work some serious magic to create a believable routine.

'The Situation' Sorrentino & Karina Smirnoff... Argentine Tango. His natural stiffness has plagued him in the competition, but it may come in handy as long as he can maintain good posture & capture the essence of the dance.

Rick Fox & Cheryl Burke, Argentine Tango. The judges simply love the former Laker. Bruno, Carrie Ann & Len will give him good scores whether or not they're warranted.

I too have much better things to do with my time than waste it watching so-called “stars” dancing - given the propensity for “stars” to believe their opinions should count more than anyone else’s, I have no time for them outside the box office - and, even then, there’s many of them I refuse to give my money to even then.

Tonight is the first ever acoustic week on DwtS. The performers will be dancing in the round, also for the first time on the show. The judges will be awarding two scores tonight, one for technical and one for performance.

(Even though I can’t watch the show for another 3 hours, I can bring over some posts from other blogs. However, the two live blogs I lurk on have both been boycotting Bristol and Mark [yes, because of her last name], and won’t report on anything related to her...including her routine or her scores.)

Bristol Palin is a national spokeswoman for the pro life movement and abstinence, that focuses her efforts on her age group.

This show is a perfect vehicle to raise her public profile with the target group that conservatives and Bristol most want to reach to promote the pro life message.

So that's why she sold her story and pictures to a magazine and shopped a reality TV show. Got it, thanks.

Perhaps we can arrange a stoning party for the highly moral freepers here who have nothing better to do than bash away. I’m sure Bristol left her child on an ice flow somewhere, knowing her. Too bad she didn’t abort the little bastard - oh wait, aren’t we against that?

Very thoughtful words...I agree

What a wonderful thing that Bristol had a baby instead of an abortion!!

There is a story out there that Bristol is very friendly with The Situation and Palin isn’t happy about it.

There are a lot of negative comments against Bristol on Facebook also....because of her mother.

This constant butting into threads where they contribute nothing, and behave like low class hoods that crash a fun party to smell up the place by passing gas at everyone.

Gross!

I like to give people a chance and Kurt Warner is my second favorite. I like Rick and Florence also.

Pay no attention to troublemakers, just enjoy.

You’ve already made it known that you don’t like this show and that you have much better things to do than waste your time watching something like this. I (and others on this thread) would really appreciate it if you’d find something better to waste your time on than camping out on this thread, which is in the chat section and is about something you hate. Just sayin’.

Oh, shut up with your holier than thou BS. Maybe she should have killed the baby instead of having him without getting married to the scum father before his birth. Would that make you happy?

You are always on your soap box. I’m sure if we were to take a look at your life, there are a few (if not PLENTY) of morally deficient moments you would rather keep hidden. But that would make you a hypocrite, wouldn’t it.

I noticed she is sitting beside him tonight. She doesn’t need another “situation”.

"The show is about entertainment and ratings. The best dancer does not always win."

I know that. It is the part of the show that does not appeal to me. I enjoy watching dancing and would be interested in a show that displayed that talents of celebrities for once and not just their popularity. We already know that they are popular and can entertain or they would not be celebrities. I want to know if they have talent as well.

Conservatives consider pro life success to be their most important political goal, and having Bristol Palin as a high profile spokeswoman helps conservatives attain that goal, without public awareness of her, her effectiveness disappears.

You may notice that your pro-life efforts are less effective than if you could keep some national public presence in front of your target audience.

At least we can both agree that being pro life is the first conservative quality.

“You’ve already made it known that you don’t like this show and that you have much better things to do than waste your time watching something like this.”

Their valuable time is better spent harrassing us it would seem. Isn’t there a foreclosure thread out there they can go and haunt?

DWTS beats just about any news show that talks about obama. We’re having 2 hours of obama-free escapism...
