Though obvious to political junkies, it's not obvious to everyone. And, it's a wedge issue that Republicans can use to split independents away from die-hard Democrats.
This sums up the mid-term election issues very nicely: every Democrat elected to the House of Representatives will vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. Yes, every Democrat elected to the House of Representatives in November will vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker in January.

Let's just hope Republicans vote for Mike Pence for Speaker instead of crap-sandwich John Boehner.

Actually, I’ve dealt with several posters on FR today who act oblivious to this obvious fact.

There are good Republicans and bad Republicans (RINOs), but there is no such thing as a conservative Democrat. Not anymore.
To: dirtboy
Those are the ones that keep up with nothing until 12 hours before an election and then try to decide who is running and whom to vote for. Bunches of those types around.

Tht is probably correct. If the Democrats have proven one thing in this session it is that they have a lot of Lemming blood in them.
Democrats will follow Nancy and the Kenyan like the mice followed the Pied Piper.

Nah, they don't like McCain and don't like Kirk in Illinois.
I don't either, but my desire to see John McCain lose an election does not come at the expense of returning the Dems to the minority party in Congress.

That makes the TEA Party Express endorsement of Rep. Walt Minnick, D-Idaho as a baffling choice. His first vote in the House was for Nancy and if he is reelected his first vote next year will be for Nancy.

That is so very true. “Enemy” is the perfect word to describe the slag that makes up the party of RATs. “Vermin” is a close second.

Yes, we have a Democrat turd near Pittsburgh, Jason Altmire. He 's running commercials acting as if he's a conservative, saying he's not afraid to go against his party.
B.S. I say. No matter what he claims, he voted for Pelosi!
Yet I haven't heard one counter-ad from the Republican opponent saying something like "Jason Altmire claims he represents you. But he voted for Nancy Pelosi.. Residents of Western PA, do you think Nancy Pelosi represents you?"
While a picture of Pelosi with her big gavel comes on the screen.
