This Bureau of Justice Assistance (U.S. Department of Justice) document is entitled "Investigating Terrorism and Criminal Extremism - Terms and Concepts” and includes a reference to GOA, a gun rights lobbying organization. I have seen GOA mentioned on threads here, but I am not personally familiar with GOA. I believe that the right to self defense is a God given right. The Constitution should protect "the right to keep and bear arms" (firearms and other weapons usable for self defense), but that right is currently being "infringed" at all levels of government.

Hmmm... Likely a questionable and biased description of the group (as I said, I'm not familiar with GOA, although I have contributed to Virginia Citizens Defense League, Second Amendment Foundation, and National Rifle Association). I am a gun rights and knife rights advocate...and I do not intend to ignite a flame war on this thread.
From the introduction to the DOJ document, a description of its purpose...
"Investigating Terrorism and Criminal Extremism—Terms and Concepts is a glossary designed primarily as a tool for criminal justice professionals to enhance their understanding of words relating to extremist terminology, phrases, activities, symbols, organizations, and selected names that they may encounter while conducting criminal investigations or prosecutions of members of extremist organizations."
I consider Holder’s DOJ as being “extremely radical” so I guess we’re even.
AiT, I think they are buying a couple of different vowels for what they see coming...I mean the current regime, that is.

Tea Partier—scary believer in smaller government. Likely to not accept Republican candidates that we have selected for them to vote for.
Pitcavage is a very far left critter, almost as bad as that other Mark in SPLC, Potok. His academic credentials have been smacked rather ragged, and far as I know he deserves it.

Cable internet says they’re doing ‘planned maintenance’ in my area tonight...although I talked to one of their repairmen a couple weeks ago—he said there was a bad wire somewhere...like looking for a needle in a haystack. Will check back later today.

I’ve been a GOA member for a couple of years now so I guess I’m on the “list”!
A couple of weeks ago, a male nurse that I’ve never seen before, stopped by to check on my mother who is under hospice care in our home. He engaged me in polite conversation before leaving and out of the blue he asked, “where can I meet up with some militia people?” He has since quit that job without notice and left the area from what we understand, but it looks like I’ve been tagged.

I have been under surveillance three times that I know of. Once was when I contacted the CIA and volunteered for mercenary duty in Cambodia in 1969, before we were supposed to know that the US was involved there. Once was for joining a gun club in New York in the mid 70s that was on the FBI watch list, and the other was when my brother killed the two game wardens in 1981.
I don’t remember seeing black helicopters, but multiple tails, blacked out running lights, and home break ins were common place.
My sentiments exactly! If a patriotic organization is not drawing scrutiny in this day and age, they are not very patriotic.

Pitcavage generally knows a lot about the sovereign citizen movement, the nazis, and what have you. But his left stand makes him give the left a free pass. You won’t see him hammering la Raza, for example, for all its racism. Neither will you see him going after obviously racist hate speech from democrat sources.

I’ve known Larry for a LONG time as in I used to sit with him in the Fairfax office getting mailers out for VCDL over 10 years ago. He is not a white supremacist nor condones their actions and anyone that says he is is a flat out liar. The DOJ is no longer a legitimate law enforcement agency, they are nothing more than a propaganda machine spreading deceit.
This is a hit piece by DOJ, nothing more and it’s political. I openly call for an investigation into the agenda behind this bogus bunch of BS from DOJ. You’re being called out DOJ... Prove me wrong you fraking liars.
