Dang, Ann, nobody forces you to take your mom out to lunch. If she was that bad, then try to do better yourself and maybe your kids will take you to lunch once in a while. You might even get a card on mother’s day. Or not, can’t say, I don’t know you.

Gawd. . .what an ugly “woman.,” inside and out.

I will bet she's had an abortion and tried to cover-up her agony by saying these spiteful and cruel things about mothers and motherhood.

Well, I tried. I got her a brand new Tru-Glow red dot scope ... and she wasn’t impressed. Darned Mother’s Day anyway!

What can you hope for if your best shot is getting a Democrat elected to some office? Sad, pathetic human being.

At least she’s being honest. Truth is, Liberals hate EVERYTHING. This is why I am a strong proponent of voluntary euthenasia for Liberals. Let them have some peace.

My Mom and I had an “uneven” relationship, but I miss her terribly, especially on Mother’s Day. Last week I went to a Greek Food Festival. A friend and I go every year. When Mom was alive, I used to stop at the pastry table and buy her some baklava and other Greek goodies. Kind of makes me sad that she’s gone and I can’t do that for her anymore.

I was born two years before the author and I don’t have such “issues” with my folks. I wish they were both here. They were wise, noble, conservative people. They weren’t particularly demonstrative — no hugging/kissing — but you always knew they loved you. They weren’t perfect parents, but they did their best and that’s good enough for me.

"What a bitter liberal. They are out to destroy all our cultural institutions."

The question you have to ask is what makes these people so bitter.

"....Mother's Day celebrates a huge lie about the value of women: that mothers are superior beings, that they have done more with their lives and chosen a more difficult path."

I married a woman who birthed three children, worked her whole life to raise them and then died in my arms. I saw her entire role as a mother and now I know that mothers are special and superior, IMHO.

But I am absolutely right about this.
