Van Jones, Obama's former "green energy czar" forced to resign over endorsing views that President George W. Bush may have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen as well as controversy over his past as a radical communist, appears to have landed on his feet. Many of his views may have been unacceptable to the vast majority of the American public, but he's more than welcome at an Ivy League university and one of D.C.'s most prominent liberal think tanks:
--Van Jones, the environmental justice advocate who relinquished his post as a White House adviser five months ago after coming under fire from conservative activists, is reemerging on the public policy stage to push for green jobs.
In his first interview since stepping down as President Obama's environmental adviser on Sept. 5, Jones said that a green jobs policy represents the best chance of both aiding poor Americans and bridging the political divide.
"When the food fight is over, there's one spot of clean common ground in American politics, and that is the need for us to be leading on energy, clean energy, and for us as a country to be more secure with all those jobs," Jones said Tuesday.
Jones, who has been consulting for companies and nonprofits on environmental issues, will start teaching at Princeton University in June and is rejoining the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank, next month. On Friday, he will receive the NAACP's President's Award, for achievement in public service, the organization announced Tuesday.
You learn a lot from kooks.
Princeton, huh? Why am I not surprised?
Princeton graduates will find that the value of their diplomas have depreciated a good $50,000 per year when they go to find a job after the Obama Depression ends.
Van Jones
I’m betting Princeton will be wondering why their donations suddenly stopped. Anybody who may still be proud of graduating from there just had their diploma trashed with this move.
He’ll fit in well there, I’m sure.
Maybe he’ll even get to share an office with Paul Krugman. They’d go well together.
They seem out of touch , just like Obama.
Liberals won't care about that and won't be able to figure it out.
Right on, how wonderful.... now a idiot can truly go professional and teach more fools.... and spread his ill founded ideas.... spread his great knowledge!
Add real value and quality to those Princeton degrees! Princeton will be known for being cutting edge material!
I smell Michelle.
Secondary education is getting so drole , who would want to attend such a leftist propaganda brain washing Princeton institutional machine in academic dress? Just like with the treasonous MSM media rags that have gone dark side left are tanking, so will Princeton.NOtre Dame is takinng the Obama hit with toussnds of alumniexiting the donor roles. Princeton can expect the same.
Tank Princeton tank! You hire nationalist socialist/fascist provacateurs and dress them up as some kind of knowledgeable Santa Claus? WHAT A LAUGH!!!!
Princeton should be demanding the release of Obamas COLB and like a dumb rock instead, it sucks Obama's .......well you get the drift.
Anyone who registers at Princeton has to be either blind, lame, or a jingoistic, ingnorant leftist slut in riducule of the freedom that created Princeton in the first place, now long gone and dead.
Van Jones
This is only one more indication that their ways are not my ways. I just throw the alumni magazine in the trash -- it's become so radical that it isn't worth reading. Every article is extremely slanted from a far left perspective, and the letters to the editor are insane -- frothing, spittle-flinging conservative-bashing, to the point of attacking the few conservative letter-writers personally. No wonder they've stopped writing.
It's a shame, because although it was liberal when I was a student back in the early 70s, other points of view were welcome and even encouraged for the sake of debate and discussion, even if the prof was liberal (and they weren't ALL liberal by any means). But that older generation of profs has died off, and the new ones are obviously doctrinaire radicals who will tolerate no deviation from the party line.

Yeah, Yeah, i know, you will say i am just angry because i am a grade school drop out, no, it would not be true, i used to wish i had an education, but now i am glad i never went to college at least, because i might have been one of the many who was brain washed in the religion of socialism.
holy f*ck
Excellent cartoonist and I see he's refining his style. Very effective. I hope he gets syndicated, he deserves it.
If liberals have infiltrated the alumni magazine, that's about as bad as you can get.
The Ivy League - paying huge bucks to be indoctrinated by idiots. We need universities that have academic standards, not universities that will hire any fool.
