Clever, these Nigerians.
FBI agents who cannot spell.
buy me something with your winnings ; )
How about a Prius?
um, no thanks!
“Jedward@fbi.gov” has sent an email message to the scammer. hehe.
As opposed to Americans posing as FBI Agents?
WHere can I sign up for my payout?
Nicely done.
“Jedward@fbi.gov has sent an email message to the scammer. hehe.”
I noticed that too:
“John Edward (Special Agent) FBI Washington DC FBI.”
This suggests that the Nigerians don’t keep up with current events very well. Is there one single American who by now doesn’t think that John Edwards is scum of the earth? So selecting an FBI agent name that likely would conjure up his image invites needless suspicion on the authenticity of the email. Of course, regardless of the name selected, it’s hard to believe that after years of Nigerian scams, there is any American left who would fall for these transparent efforts at electronic thievery.
Damn, I don’t have $600!
Wow, next thing you know they will be impersonating humans. Nigerians are like that.
This is an obvious fake.
The FBI has been asleep while ACORN has stole election after election.
My buddy, “spartacus”, uses this site to send email:
www.cotse.net/cgi-bin/mixmail.cgi
(using firefox browser with all cookies, java, etc turned off thru a good anonymous proxy)
My best scam e-mail was a variation of the old Nigerian scam, but sent in French from the Cote de Ivoire.
I don't recommend you try to bait the scammers yourself unless you absolutely, positively know how to conceal your real identity and location. The scammers have no sense of humor and some are downright dangerous. Enjoy.
Gee, I would have thought the reason the Nigerians would be impersonating FBI agents is because the misspellings and poor grammar would be consistent with FBI agents.
I guess there is no honor among thieves.
