Isn't it someting, that in one night, i.e. the vote in Massachusetts, Obamas kingdom seems to have come into turmoil, almost ending.
It reminds me of Daniel chapter 5 when Belshazzar, while having a party and drinking from the vessels of God's temple, he witnessed a hand appear and write on his wall. He needed Daniel to interpret the writting. That night he was slain and the Medio-Persia empire came into power and that was the end of Babylon.
MENE - God has numbered your kingdom and brought it to an end.
TEKEL - You have been weighed in the scales and found to be lacking.
PERES - Your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.
I think the saying "The Writing's on the Wall" came from Daniel 5.
