After over a decade of hanging here, picking up other prayer requests I must post one of my own.
My wife and I have taken in two grandchildren (2 and 5) after the death of their father and eventual abandonement by their mother who has been overwhelmed by one medical condition over another.
She called this morning half way around the country with news that she is once again hospitalized, this time with conjestive heart failure and would like to home to see her children while she can.
This is difficult on so many levels and only a mighty and loving God can sort through the noise and bring peace into it.
Pray for Cathy, her children and an outcome that brings glory to God!

I love Psalm 138, especially the last couple verses:
“Tho’ I walk in the midst of trouble the Lord will revive me. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me; Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Thy hands.”
Family stuff will do it to you, won’t it. I will pray.
