Christians Hanukkah (dec 11-19) is for you too

Jesus was in Jerusalem during this feast and made one of His clearest messianic claims (John 10:22-39). It was this same Jesus who referred to himself as “the light of the world” (John 8:12).

Interesting point. The Bible never records Yeshua/Jesus celebrating His birthday but we do have record of Him celebrating the Feasts, including Hanukkah!

Of course he celebrated his birthday...all Israel did. He was born on the first day of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), a Sabbath and circumcised the eighth day, also a Sabbath.

If you count back 9 months from Sukkot you will be at Channuka...Yeshua then, would have been conceived at that time.

Well 0bama gave greetings to the world of Islam for Ramadhan and the haj . So will the slimball in cheif send greetings at the beginning of the season of Hanukkah? This will be interesting.

Based on the reading of John chapter 1 where he says that Yeshua “tabernacled among us”, it’s mroe likely he was born during Sukkot, which is in the fall (Sept./Oct.) and would fit more with the story about the shepards still out in the fields at night.
