Governor Palin knows better than to do that, and this move by the brass is nothing short of paranoid and Orwellian.
Translation: Obama and his henchmen will allow no news coverage of how the troops and families greet Palin at Fort Hood.

They are smearing her as an "anti-Obama" American when she is simply signing books and meeting with the Soldiers and their families.

The Soldiers would most likely be cheering and smiling while meeting with Governor Palin, and the Dictator In Chief will not allow that!

Somebody has to have a cellphone camera on them. Take the pictures undercover and leak them on the internet. What a small being the one and his minions are. THEY ARE SIMPLY AFRAID OF THE RECEPTION THAT SHE WILL RECEIVE, WHICH WILL BE TREMENDOUS!!!!!!!
I guess the ban is just for the media. Don't see any reason why some high quality, privately owed video cameras shouldn't be allowed. Obama and his henchmen will really look bad (and obvious) if they tried to ban individual's personal video cams and cell phones.
