A study by researchers at the University of Bergen, Norway, and the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) at King's College London has found that depression is as much of a risk factor for mortality as smoking. Utilising a unique link between a survey of over 60,000 people and a comprehensive mortality database, the researchers found that over the four years following the survey, the mortality risk was increased to a similar extent in people who were depressed as in people who were smokers...

Well we all now the source of our depression.
IMHO ... Jimmuh Cahta is still the WORST PRESIDENT, but he’s definitely Looking like he’s going to lose that title to DER FUHRER OBAMA..
Interest rates are still managable (for the MOMENT), still think that under Carter,the Treasury Secretary’s name was either GUIDO or ROCCO.. as 20% mortgage rates were not uncommon.
Either way my tagline contains my sentiments.
I wonder what second hand depression does?
I’d be in favor of banning depression in public buildings and automobiles, especially long trips.

Try eating right, working out, getting to the doctor in a timely way, etc., etc., when you are depressed, and this would be no mystery.
How about a TAX on it just like on cigarettes? (sad... it's the entry mood to depression, so.... be Happy!)
Well I have backed off the last few months but I was jogging 10 miles during the summer. Lately I’ve been hitting the weights in the basement. I would say I’m more pissed than depressed. If I could just taste a little conservative revenge I think I’d be alright. :)

Actually, the annual sales of SSRI antidepressants in the US alone is in the 11-12 billion dollar/yr. range, at least. Don’t put it past the government to tap into that.
Actually it sounds like something new for the government to tax.
