Sarah Backs Hoffman!

The people of the 23rd Congressional District of New York are ready to shake things up, and Doug Hoffman is coming on strong as Election Day approaches! He needs our help now.

The votes of every member of Congress affect every American, so it's important for all of us to pay attention to this important Congressional campaign in upstate New York. I am very pleased to announce my support for Doug Hoffman in his fight to be the next Representative from New York's 23rd Congressional district. It's my honor to endorse Doug and to do what I can to help him win, including having my political action committee, SarahPAC, donate to his campaign the maximum contribution allowed by law.

Impressive. I’m not sold on any candidate for 2012 at this point, but it’s fantastic that Palin has the guts to buck the establishment in this race.

Rumor has it Romney, Huck, Pawlenty and others were all standing on a ridge with their fingers to the wind.

Wonderful news! This has been a day of great news! Also check out this: “The Most Important Number in Politics Today.”

Doug Hoffman is the Conservative alternative in this race (or Hoffman by PayPal).

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.

There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year. Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

More threads ...
From the desk of
cc2k:
I support Doug Hoffman for Congress (PayPal).

Please, spread the word about this important election on November 3, 2009 in New York’s 23rd congressional district.

Romney and Pawlenty are the establishment. They’ll follow whatever the powers that be want.

Huckster is supposed to be a guest speaker for the NY conservative party on Oct 27th. Initially he said he would give vocal support but provide no money for Hoffman. Perhaps, with Palin, Armey, and Bachman giving Hoffman support, Huckster will finally give money to Hoffman.

Born and raised in that district. Big union has a strangle hold on most of the good jobs there however the people are for the most part hardened conservative.

The winters in that part of the country are not for the faint hearted.

“yes its cool...awesome and all that.... but the democrats going to win as the conservative vote gets split. Its going to play out that way in all the races and we will lose our chance to win in 2010....I am afraid.”

That will only happen if the GOP insists on running DIABLOs like Scuzzlebutt. And if cap and tax and card-check are going to pass anyway, we don’t need to give 0bama ‘bipartisan’ cover.

Todd Palin would feel right at home in NY-23's Lewis County. While Alaska has about one registered snowmobile for every 20 people, NY-23's Lewis County has one registered snowmobile for every 7.6 people.

Why would a Conservative vote for Scozzafava? Some liberal Republicans might, but they need to be educated or change parties. Or we might as well let them have the elite RINO party since their leaders are too afraid of upsetting those across the aisle.

No more RINOs, no more DIABLOs.

We vote for the best candidate. In this case Scozzafava is actually more liberal than the Democrat.

Go Hoffman, Go Sarah

You are correct; we are in the battle for the preservation of the union as it was designed. The establishment GOP is on the wrong side of that battle.

Do we cede to the traitor in our ranks with the reasoning that he will kill us slower? Or do we eliminate the enemy and fortify our own position?

Could be the beginning of a Really Big Stuff.

Howabout: bye-bye Republicrats, hello Conservative Party of the USA.
++++++++++++++++++++

I love the enthusiasm. But I must say, the history of 3rd parties is not good in the USA - and even with much fervor like with Ross Perot...the don’t work unless there is a massive shock to the body politic like the lead up to the Civil War. Are we at that point? Perhaps. But what if we’re not? Are we willing to wait 20 or 40 years, experimenting with a national 3rd party - when we could reclaim the Republican party to its Conservative roots?

Here are the facts. In the history of the United States, not a single third party has come close to winning the presidency, only 7 3rd parties have even won a single state’s electoral votes and only 5 third parties have won even 10% of the vote.

I’m willing to listen to your ideas about how to make a national 3rd party work - but I don’t see it.

Wouldn’t it be better to pursue 3rd parties where established - like NY and push Conservatives in R primaries in other places.

Clean up, clean out, and reclaim the Grand Old Party.
