Congrats to them both for being there for you. Happy birthday to your dad and long life and health to all of you!
Congrats to both of them!
Congratulations. My mom will be 101 on October 24. Has her own apartment with a caregiver and with us spelling the caregiver. Let’s hope we share the genes of our mothers and fathers.
Many happy returns of the day.
They are! They’ve lived good lives. I’m totally fortunate!
I love them; but I’m surprised at how big a deal Dad’s birthday is for me this year.
God is good!

Well, congrats to your Dad!!
I haven’t been their easiest kid...but they’ve pulled me up to being grown up!
My mom was 93 in May...but is bed-ridden and has dementia. She lives with me.
:-)
Thank you!
That is wonderful! Happy Birthday, bannie’s Dad!
You’ll have to shout from the FReepin’ rooftop on your mama’s birthday next! :^D
Tomorrow my Dad a world war two hump pilot with a 161 missions will be 92. I can shout it too and still sharp as a tack.
WOW! I’m so happy for you, too!! I’m still asking God for many more years with them!
Both Mom and Dad are still so active. To see them, the seem to be in their middle 70’s.
When Dad was in his early 80’s he broke his arm when he fell out of a tree—because he lost his grip on his chain saw. He quit climbing trees...but not using the chain saw.
The only real difference is that he paces himself now. When he mows the lawn, he does it in sections instead of all at once.
From where I sit, it looks like we never stop needing our parents.
It’s 1919...where’d you get all of that good stuff? I’ll go find it for 1919 and give it to dad!
:-)
THANK YOU!
