It’s ignoramuses like you that enable 0 to sell us out. Do your homework. Monckton is reporting fact, not opinion. We are on a path to lose our sovereignty in a matter of weeks unless someone stops 0.

Excerpt:

“At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it.

“Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it.

“And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created.

“The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity.

“The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t.

“And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement..

“How many of you think that the word “election” or “democracy” or “vote” or “ballot” occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty? Quite right, it doesn’t appear once. So, at last, the communists who piled out of the Berlin Wall and into the environmental movement, who took over Greenpeace so that my friends who funded it left within a year, because [the communists] captured it – Now the apotheosis as at hand.

“They are about to impose a communist world government on the world. You have a president who has very strong sympathies with that point of view. He’s going to sign it.

[snip]

“In the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever.

“And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is.”

It’s not. Ratification is by the US Senate. However, while treaties can supercede structural provisions of the constitution, they cannot superced constitutionally guaranteed personal rights. (It is a complex issue with lots of grey areas.)

Take a looke at what verity posted to me:

verity: “You worry too much!”

Anita1:
“That’s why you would allow a rapist to rape your child - because you do not worry about what he is doing to their future?”

veryity: “I think you need a few more cards in your playing deck.”

You can include her in the ignoramous pile!

Well, with all the dems - just about in his camp (except the yellow dogs) - do you think they can pass it?

The congress has to ratify treaties. He wants to sign,,, fine,, then Palin can take us to war to get out of it if she has to. A treaty is only as good as the army that enforces it.

This is the part that bothers me, especially with the current crop of traitors that we have in power, who knows what they'll pull.

We have yet begun to fight the real fight, imo

The ONLY part that is wrong is this: “And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is.” Countries unilaterally abrogate and violate treaties all the time.

WARNING! Goodbye U.S Sovereignty... Hello One World Government!(Obama to Cede US Sovereignty)

Stupid Headline alert!

Read my tag line.

Hussein and his minions may ave their filthy marxist grip on the presidency, but the Senate must vote on treaties. Even the Obamanation can't circumvent that and survive politically.

The House may also even rear on its collective hind legs and pose an objection.

A treaty is only as good as the army that enforces it.

This is a concept lost on the ignorant and the stupid.

The are no "good" or "bad" nations. The only ones that matter are the ones with the means to enforce their position, good or bad.
That should be obvious to even the densest delusion touchie-feelie type.

As a corollary, countries don't have friends or enemies; just interests.

Sure all of Europe could rise up and attack the US. To that I can only say...

Give it your best shot!

Huh? Never heard of Lord Monckton. What treaty? Where? Who? Blah, blah. Not that it’s impossible but I’m skeptical.

Well, ignorance may be an explanation, but not a flattering admission.

Please don't shoot the messenger.

Lord Monckton is the most effective European voice of reason in the Global Warming debate.

Here is the ultimate irony and hilarious possible outcome of this whole "One World" thing:

The Obama supporters are all for it; not realizing that their enviable "pet" status would be lowered more than a few notches when the US productive segment (i.e. those who actually work) is forced to share its wealth with the entire world, not just with them.

The military is going to end up having to kick that SOB out. Kick them all out. Hold new elections, start over. ACORN, SEIU and all their other ogranizations, done, finished.
