Freeper MeekOneGop's Brother Has Passed Away

Received in a Freepmail from MeekOneGop about an hour ago. I'm sure condolences and prayers would be sincerely appreciated.

I got an email this morning from my Brother’s wife, Kathy.

**Ricky - call as soon as you get this - emergency! Kathy**

As soon as I saw it I called her.

My brother passed away, probably sometime late Monday night or Tuesday morning. She was out of town and called him and talked to him Monday around 5 p.m. Flagstaff AZ time. She called him again Tuesday morning around 7 and for several hours after that and never got an answer. It’s not like my brother not to answer or call her back shortly, and he’s bad diabetic so she called the Sheriff’s office and they went to the house around 4 p.m. and found him and he had passed away. :(

I am almost frozen as I type this.

I asked Kathy what she thought ... what she thought may have happened and she said something medical regarding his diabetes. The Medical Examiner’s in Flagstaff have him and are doing an autopsy and when they are done, they will release him to Kathy I guess.

It was just about a year ago that my oldest brother died suddenly, unexpectedly.

He was recovering from surgery, feeling fit, took the border collies for a bike ride.

He came back and told his wife he was tired and would lie down and did not get up; an embolism punctuated an energetic and productive life--unexpectedly.

Our family converged around his widow to share the joys of life and the tragedy of death; and two nights ago she let us know the previous night our brother appeared in her dream wearing the single suit she did not donate to their church, smiling at her, comforting her.

The first time he ever appeared in her dream in their decades together.

I am certain we don't really lose these people, that they petrify from the temporal wood to the timeless stone, and we continue on their bedrock.
