I looked over that "list" of the types of conservatives. Looks like a load of liberal crap to me. Three categories..
1. Secular Right
2. Religious Right
3. Xenophobic Right (that includes "extreme Right" catigories.

If you don’t mind, I feel no need to define myself based on the options offered by a group who’s motto is “Researching the Right for Progressive Changemakers”. Looks like a variation of Media Matters, starting with the premise that any non-Marxist thought is some sort of disorder.

Yes, it was a tough choice for me between “business” and “economic.” I chose “economic conservatism” since it had a little more “freedom” associated with it. Both are excellent choices.

Hm, it’d probably fall under “religious right” because I like Justice and want to see it done uniformly and equitably... esp in regard to Congress and the like.
Though there ARE parts of “Econ. Libertarian” in there, as I don’t believe that it is Congress’s job to control the market... and I’m very much against the arbitrary-taxation that will come about because of “cap-n-trade”.
The one regarding American military superiority is a load of BS though; mostly because it is absolutely foolish to get into the mindset of “we’re the best, nobody can stand up to us!” because that will merely encourage laxity in guarding weak-spots. It is best to go out with the wary mentality of we’re going to do our best to win, but we need to be on the lookout for the enemy and his tactics, as well as being aware of our own weaknesses (which the enemy will seek out). Sun Tsu put it this way: appear weak and disorganized where you are strong and ready and appear organized and strong where you are weak.
